Some more criticisms, the original comment was a bit too long, had to split: 3) I like the puzzle aspect of the game. Hint for new players: I could be mistaken but it seems Sprinkler 2 and 3 can stack with themselves if you have multiple tiles affecting the same crops. You can use S2 twice on tomatoes only and S3 three times on all crops but carrots. To devs: I wanna see more of this. More elaborate sprinkler combos that force you to think about your setup more. 4) Lettuce seems like a bit of an afterthought. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated person harvesting lettuce, instead Dijon splits his time between the two types of crops. Furthermore, the shape of lettuce crops seems like a downgrade from tomatoes as you can only use 1 tile of sprinkler 2 on it.
Hey Magmardoooom! Wow - thank you for typing out so much feedback for us. We really appreciate it! This kind of feedback helps us decide what to do next. Performance helpers are a reasonable idea, and we can look into that after we finish our next patch. As for the other feedback, we hope you check out the game again when we patch in more late game content! I think a lot of your feedback will be addressed with that and we'd love to hear what you think about it!
Nice game, progression seems well thought out, game is quite polished, there is decent content to start with and active developers. 5/5 and favourite (for now ;D, I have high expectations)
A bunch of criticisms though. 1) I am personally playing on firefox on a toaster. Maybe the majority of players don't experience any issues but my browser stops responding for a couple of seconds every few minutes. I would appreciate if there was a way to completely turn off all animations and particle effects and keep the graphics to the bare minimum required. (I know there are SOME options, could use more). 2) Endgame grinding diamonds is a bit tedious. It would be nice if there was an expensive upgrade that allows you to idly generate diamonds at a small fraction of the active rate. (i.e. ~5% of how many diamonds you get by resetting and clearing the field again)
1) Need some bonus for finishing a tier. How about a global multiplier to both gold and science of about 10% per completed tier? i.e having 6 full tiers gives you 60% to all science and gold. 2) I am only halfway through my 3rd rainbow petal so I don't know if anything important happens when you finish the 5-leaf clover, but I think there should be some bonus for each petal because they are kinda rarish. 3) Prestige system? Maybe there is one and I just haven't reached it yet.
This game has a lot of potential. It needs 1) export/import options, 2) a prestige system, 3) achievements, 4) more content, 5) a better organized museum, 6) a five-leaf clover.
The obvious thing to do with the prestige system would be to reset the color of the clover back to green but increase the number of leaves to 5 quadrupling the number of combinations available in the museum and the time required to gather them. Then do the same for 6, etc. But if you wanna be creative and add something else that's cool too.
The game needs an upgrade autobuy that buys all available upgrades/enhancements/skills that cost less than 1% of your current coins/exp. Possible make it cost 100 gems or have it unlocked at ascension 10 if you don't want people to have it too early. That would solve the problem of ascensions needing you to keep checking and buying.
@RealmGrinder0 The devs have clearly said that the graphics overhaul is not going to negatively impact performance at all. In fact, they are currently working on improving performance as well so when the update happens you will feel the game working more smoothly than before.
I understand how you feel about them making it optional for people who like the old view, but the purpose of this overhaul is partly to rearrange the GUI and make more space for new spells and other features. So I doubt they can make the overall overhaul optional.
That said, the devs have also said that they will give you options to disable any particle effects or other unnecessary changes the may add in the future.
Besides, YOU started a poll and the community was like 70% in favor so stop acting as if everybody hates the idea.
How about automatic bundle upgrades? If you've spent 10 gems for 1 timeblock 4 times it means you have spent a total of 40 gems on timeblocks which is enough to afford the '40 for 5' bundle. I think the game should recognise this and give you the extra time block. There really is no sense in having to hold on to your gems and just wait until you can afford the biggest bundle...
Ok, I've secured every area, set up a new constitution, defeated the gang and cured zombiism but people are still killing themselves to become 'chosen ones'! I swear, some people won't be satisfied no matter what!
Great game! I've been playing since May and I still can't get enough of it!
There's one thing that I've been waiting for since the beginning though: The addition of TRUE multifaction (The ability to have more than one faction at the same time - Think Elf/Angel, Demon/Goblin, Titan/Druid, Dwarf/Fairy/Angel etc)
It would be so simple to develop because all the icons and upgrades are already there but it would add so much replayability to the game.
THUMBS UP IF YOU WANT MULTIFACTION!
The way skillbooks and equipment are right now is a bit confusing. It is not clear which skills/weapons affect each raider. Also it would be nice to have a window that shows a raiders overall stats including the chance to chain hits, the healing done from healers, resistance to a certain element etc.
Great concept. I have a few suggestions: 1) Option to skip elevator animation (Takes about 15 seconds and I can clear a floor in 10 so I spend more than twice the time necessary), 2) Open all option for card packs (Try opening 30+ packs one by one), 3) Sort cards by specific skill (or hide/show like you do for different heroes), 4) Show/Hide only the best 3 cards in each category (E.g the 3 best critical chance cards, the 3 best critical multi cards, the 3 best time reduction cards, the best 3 damage cards for given skill), 5) Option to sell/craft all those duplicate bronze cards into something better. That's most of the important staff I can think of now. I know it's still in alpha and if I were to guess based on HypperHippo's history all of my suggestions are probably on the way already.
Thank you! The elevator and open-all fixes we're working on fast! Sorting is going to take a lot more work but we want that too! Crafting for SURE. It was the first thing we wanted to do with the cards too.
This games shows a lot of promise but there is one MAJOR thing that needs to be added. Offline progress. Many people have said that in the comments already and if you agree there is something you can do about it. 1) Go to "See All", 2) press Ctrl+f, 3) type in "offline", 4) upvote all the comments that mention offline progress. I can't believe none of them made it to the first page. Every other feature or improvement is secondary to this.
The new micromanager feature is very innovative and profitable but I have a suggestion. Perhaps you could make the green progress bars thinner and make some new red bars above them instead of the faint red backround. It will look prettier and easier for the eye. Overall, amazing game. Ive been around since the max achievement was at 500 each :D 5/5
GRAVE DIGGER, are you serious? I personally love this game, but what you're saying doesn't make any sense. The rating function is there so that people can rate it according to how much they liked it. If only people who liked a game were allowed to rate it, then all the games on Kong would be rated 5/5 and you wouldn't be able to find the really good ones.
Let's see. You changed the presents with balls, you rearranged the upgrades in 2 columns... Did you also rearrange the main menu? That must have been a lot of effort. Please remember to PM me when you release your next game "Swimming Hats".
