After witnessing the murder of my pet cat’s parents, I was bitten by a cockroach irradiated with gamma rays. This uncanny set of circumstances gave me super strength, super senses, a healing factor, unmatched ninja skills and the ability to talk to cockroaches. Thus was born Magnus Rex, mild mannered playboy billionaire by day, super-powered-crime-fighter-flying-around-the-world-on-his-pajamas by night. Considered by many people the world’s mightiest mortal, Magnus Rex (that’s me!) has only one weakness: an alien element called sodium. Unfortunately for me, sodium is present in every animal organism on Earth, plus Earth’s oceans and most minerals. Therefore, although I am the world’s mightiest mortal, I’ve never had the chance to actually use my powers.
