I had issues at first with clade on 18. Tip: just remove all skills cept barrier and neg eff remover so she doesnt drain all your energy with your high cost skills. You can also add any items/missiles you want to use and be sure to reactivate bonus lock if you have it when she turns it off.
8 minutes is very doable once you have the locations and order down for the power ups. I would have went from 20 minutes to 7 minutes on my 2nd try if I didn't stupidly die 3 times in a row. (dying adds 20 seconds each time) Just keep in mind you don't need to kill the boss.
Fun little game. My only complaint would be that you cant pick up loot with the keyboard, got a bit annoying doing all the fighting with keyboard only and having to switch to mouse to grab loot.
It is quite easy if you focus on reproduction. Plus make sure you grab the cancer cells right away in the beginning. They are the curvy ones, not a uniform circle. Cancer cells make more really fast.
My only real complaint is that it is basically impossible to kill the ninja leader in a dual since he can do his special move and one shot you even with full con and the best armor. Luckily it somehow gave me credit for killing him for the badge even though I lost 50 times. :P
I had to do the end base twice, thought it was impossible the first time. Then I realized I made a bad tactics decision by clearing all the outside bases and ships first. Leave them there to go back and get armor&missile power ups as you widdle the big base down.
