the hit mis ratio is fine. you have to train combat or magic attack before you randomly go off and kill things. if you don't know how to fight you are going to miss a lot regardless of how strong you are... think about it.
This game goes beyond glitchy. For some reason I have all NaN for supplies, which apparently translates to infinite. Then for whatever reason I am invincible, my fort goes to 0 and I still live. My catapult just disappeared and I built one of my buildings to maximum all at once and it never showed up so I couldn't make archers or anything. WOW glitchfest.
