Failed twice at the pro square stage, even though both times I got every single square that popped without mistakes to get a time penalty, yet I wasn't even able to get 1 star ...? What is this? Unless picking a square triggers a new batch, requiring you to click it as soon as it pops on the screen, you either don't get enough squares or the stage is random.
Either way, it swiftly became frustrating even though I was having a blast until that point and I decided to stop playing it. 1/5 for the dev's lack of effort, disguising randomness as "skill" based.
The game is nice and all that, but the whole daze mechanic is pretty silly and even more so that you have to itemize for it to be able to do anything past a certain point when you can`t afford to lose even half a second ...
Getting the "It's a trap" achi is almost impossible. Not only he never ... ever .... ever ... laughs [ I even waited for him to cast the goddamn spell to be sure I`m not rushing it -- 30 times! ], but even if by some random chance he does, you`re still left to defend the crystal after taking every single fcking hit since you pretty much have to stop attacking altogether if you don`t want to interrupt him by mistake -- that is, unless the achi doesn`t req you to also finish the level, in which case, it might be manageable if he`d actually laugh every once in a while so you wouldn`t have to do it 20 times and let him cast every single spell he starts and still not get a single laugh out of all that ... which is fcking frustrating if you ask me.
That`s my only complaint about the game.
Howdy! Here's a few tips: There are TWO types of spells, one is the trap and another is a normal blast. the trap spell will not appear unless you are hit or able to cancel the very first blast. When the Greedling is low on HP he casts it more. And when he does laugh, DO NOT ATTACK HIM! Also, DO NOT destroy his face or he will never cast again. Funny how nobody talks about the improved ComboY that can do the same thing as the original [ percent damage, killing it instantly no matter the hp ], but without letting the enemy move at all the entire fight!
