I've been playing this a bit and i've been enjoying it. It's a very simple concept, but it's done quite well. Just a couple of suggestions for any sequel(s), etc.
Firstly, I would love a coin reward with the achievements. That would really act as an incentive for players to try and get achievements and would give people something to aim for. There are also a few grammar/spelling mistakes that I spotted, which was a shame since the rest of the game was a lot of fun. 3.5/5.
I really liked the fact that this wasn't another "tower defence" game, which is what I expected. Although you keep most of the towers, the introduction of the engineer is a nice touch. I didn't really like the fact that you had to wait so long for structures to build though. To me, it kind of felt like you were forcing me to either invest in microtransactions, or wait half an hour for my windmill to build. Maybe I am being a bit unfair however, as you do hand out stones for not losing lives during battles. The non-stop button was a welcome feature and I loved the addition of the little challenges and events on the sides, that was great. And, i'll admit that the extra stones did make me value each of my lives far more. A welcome change to an already innovative series. 4/5.
Fantastic game. Probably the thing that I love about this most is the variety in both power-ups and upgrades. Having challenges along with so many other great features (good length, survival mode etc),makes this an easy 5/5 for me.
Great game! I was thinking, every time you upgrade a part in the shop (changing its appearance), you lose any previous upgrades you made on the previous ship part (the upgrades which DON'T change its appearance). So since you start with 4 upgrade boxes for each part, maybe you could have 8 boxes for part 2, 16 for part 3 and 32 for part 4? So say if you got 2 upgrades in part 1 then upgraded, you could then move to part 2 and then have 2/8 of the upgrades. I know it might not seem like much of a difference, but even a 1% dmg increase would be appreciated. I love the style of ship, how everything opens up, revealing this beastly war machine. A good variety of enemies. I thought maybe you could have a bit more creativity in weapons. I would have loved like a deployable mini panda fleet or a strafing run from a panda jet. Some power-ups would have been neat too. I love how each weapon requires a different action, though. That's awesome. Great game, old concept with a few new twists. 4/5.
I enjoyed this game compared to some of the "new" and "popular" games that usually play. This is a chaotic, fun game and badges and power-ups (especially sticky paddle) make it all the more fun and replay-able. I was strongly disappointed at the absence of an option to leave/stop a game after it had started. I tried all of the buttons, but if I missed one, then perhaps the developer needs to make it more obvious that this can be done. In addition to this, has anyone else noticed that the upgrades barely impact the game at all? I upgraded my paddle width to ~halfway through the whole bar, and it doesn't look any wider. Unique concept, simple game, lots of fun, but needs the above features. 3/5.
Simple, old concept, but still fun. Personally, I thought that the game could of done a better job of explaining the objective to the player, but I liked that the developer let us have a bit of fun by not attaching a score system with the amount of shots you used, unlike most games. 3/5.
One thing that I noticed whilst playing this game was that every level seemed to be different in some way. In one level, you would have to push many small balls around, whilst in another you would need to gain momentum to reach certain heights. A game with simple, unique concept, relaxing music, challenge, and variety. 5/5.
Great game, unique concept. I had a lot of fun with this. It's great trying to unravel the story from other files and I found that there was some problem solving and logic involved as well, which fitted in nicely. 5/5.
Such a creative game! the music is perfect and the art is unique. I love how the longer you play, the more abilities you unlock for each object. Speaking of abilities, there is such a wide and creative range! This is a really fun, short game. 5/5.
I personally had a lot of fun; the introduction of a timing element was clever, as well as those "blocking" objects which blocked the spaces of segmented bars. I really enjoyed this because it felt like a generic, plain and simple puzzle game. 5/5.
P.S Did anyone else get the feeling that they were picking a lock(s)?
I strongly agree with Assasin-In Sand Storm, whilst playing a game of Attack & Defend or, a limited respawn gametype(s), defenders are known to camp in the castle, which simply ruins the game. Of course, parachutes would be useful for other areas, but, when I read that guy's comment, that was unfortunately the first thing to come to mind.
A good game. Old concept, good execution, nice music and art, but there were a few "cons" about it; like, for example, at some points I didn't know what to do because the game gave absolutely no indication, and I would be stuck for about 5 minutes clicking randomly around the page, only to find that I had to click the same thing I clicked a few seconds ago. In addition to this, the "password section" didn't make sense. Good game, but needs to be checked and improved in a small amount of ways. 3.5/5.
Good game, was great in most areas. Old concept executed perfectly, with good gameplay, music and art. Could of had more levels, and a star rating system for each level would of been nice, preferably with some sort of reward for getting all stars, but the gameplay was good. 3.5/5.
Some nice music, challenging gameplay and colourful art. Loved the "par" feature from Red Remover, but I would like to suggest two improvements. Firstly, a level editor would be great. Second, a reward for par on all levels, like a new set of levels or a "fun" setting. Simple game, good entertainment. 4/5.
Good game, sort of unique concept, rarely used. However, if used in the right game, can be very effective. However, I found that having another version of you on the other side of the screen to be confusing at times. Good game, feels a bit empty though. 4/5.
There were some server issues at 1am Pacific, which have since been resolved.
