I like this game but the lack of any kind of save feature is a deal breaker. The game crashed for me after playing a good 45 minutes and I lost all progress. There are plenty of rogue-likes that have managed to implement a save feature that doesn't circumvent the whole perma-death mechanic.
Agree on the ability to lock hexes you know are correct, also the ability to reset the game would be nice! I'd love to play it again and be able to keep track. Overall great game. Love the music, it's very soothing.
Nice relaxing puzzle. It would be nice if the difficulty ramped up a bit as you get along in levels but it's also nice that it isn't overly difficult, as this would spoil the relaxing mood of the whole thing. I enjoyed the music, it fits well with the game. Please make more games like this! :)
It would be nice if there was some way to see what the skills across the bottom are exactly? What they do? And also some indicator on the map as to which level is easiest - which is hardest? Numbers or something? I really want to like the game but it just feels unfinished or something. So many things could be improved upon to make this a decent game.
So the orange screen seems to be fixed, but now I'm stuck on "checking reactions on the community server". I don't want to check reactions on the community server, there needs to be a way to disable that "feature".
I've been having issues with purchasing upgrades that that I have enough cash to buy but it tells me I don't. Refreshing multiple times did not help, however I found closing my browser completely and reopening it seems to fix it.
I don't usually complain but that's just not right. The badge description says nothing about multiplayer mode whatsoever and the dev's response is unacceptable. The game gives no explanation of play, the mechanics are awful and there's little indication of what each card does. One star.
It's not a bad idea and I kind of liked it, but one thing that did really annoy me is that after beating the final boss I could not go back in and replay that last fight to get gold. I had gold on every level up to that point and that just .... ruined it. :(
This is a good concept but you need to add more achievements, more upgrades and definitely +10/+100/etc buttons. Think of it this way, achievements are the carrot on the stick that keeps the player playing... gotta get that next achievement. If there are too few or they are too far apart players will lose interest and move on. Overall though I really like the concept and I think with some work you could be on to a good game here :)
When you're standing on the flag it says "controling". To me that's just laziness to not even bother with correct spelling. That combined with the other problems with this game that others have pointed out makes me wonder what criteria is used when deciding the BotD? Or is there no criteria for badges? Gotta wonder how this game managed to get three no less the BotD. *boggle*
Due to the lack of any kind of instructions I would guess that this game assumes you have played the previous version? There's nothing listed under "instructions" other than an apparent copy/paste of the description from above. It looks like an interesting game but some sort of instuctions/tutorial would be an improvement. I'm waiting to rate it until I see how the game play is but that's definitely going to effect my rating; I shouldn't have to google to figure out how to play. (and yes, I get that you have to shift, but there's obviously more to it than just that. Shifting resulted in my being stuck right off the bat before I even made it to the second room).
I liked the game, it was a sweet story and well done; however the ads really broke immersion and definitely detracted from it. What could have been great ended up just mediocre.
