Following Boreeas' suggestion to use media executives to keep heat down, I kept playing for over half an hour, just seeing how far I could go. Apparently 66% domination and 2 doomsday devices (ion cannon and nuke) is enough to get the highest score ever (816,029). The game ended when the nukes destroyed the base. Also, I had over a million dollars from the stock market monitor. I think it might have glitched past whatever the intended money limit is.
Please make failing a wave give the option to go back to the shop. I forgot to buy ammo before wave 9 and now I have to restart even though I have the money.
Fun game, but impossible mode gets annoying in the last few levels. At that point it becomes more a game of luck (for triple damage balloons) and grinding (for emergency repair kits) than a game of skill and upgrading.
When did they add the Illusions of Grandeur badge? Currently 202,233 people have that badge for completing level 5 while 230,854 (28,621 more) people have the Solitary Refinement badge for beating the game.
Great game, but endless mode gets boring after re-beating the final boss a couple times. Also, it would be nice if I could see my current score in addition to my cash; I played about 50% more than I needed to for the hard badge.
Great game, but there don't seem to be enough ability points available. I've beaten the game, gotten level 41, and have 12 credits left to spend, but nowhere to spend them. Is there a way to get the 20 missing agility ability points and the 50 missing points in charisma? Someone earlier said they were missing 60 points, but I'm missing 70, so maybe the squares with the question marks are randomized and causing the points not to work right.
You can get over $1,000,000 in a single launch. After launching don't do anything until the trollface has reached the ground and almost stopped. Each time he nearly stops, activate the accelerator and hope you get another before next time (very common). Only use the face-clicking acceleration when you don't have an accelerator available.
When I did this, I got $1.4M the first time, so there's no need for me to do that again and get better statistics on the method.
Bloxorz, even if it's "easy" to finish the challenge with tons of practice and full stops between shifts, the game crashing and stalling out during the challenge still greatly reduces the fun.
With such an annoying bug, I only rated it 3/5.
