Marq’s wife Holly passed away this past Tuesday, October 19th, 2010.

Please, if you’ve good memories, hold them in your heart.
Anger, bad things, tears, pain… these are the small things between people who love one another.
Remember the love, the smiles, the laughter, the fun embarrassments, the holding of hands, the quiet smiles across pillows, the smear of cake across a nose, the fawning over kittens, the patients who smiled and said “Thank you,” the love of a musician(s), the small gifts at just the right time, the chasing of leaves in fall, the struggling with a garden, the embarrassingly funny piece of jewelry that was hand-made for you, the passing touches, the compromises about entertainment that worked out better than expected, the begrudging admittance of being wrong that was for the best, the bad hair, the stain on the shirt that brought unexpected laughs, the helping each other through painful moments, and the joy of finding each other anew.
But remember the love. That’s important.
