I'm not sure what triggered it, but a few planes spawned and then one got stuck in the top-left corner and now no enemies are spawning. Might want to figure out what causes it, because I didn't do anything different. o_O
This game is absolutely wonderful, until you get to Mars. After you get all the upgrades, it's pointless to go on. With max level of fuel absorbing, you can pretty much go on indefinitely, and then just getting your hedgehog to actually land anytime is ridiculous. It's just no fun when there's never really any chance you won't go higher.
I think I'm going to make a minimal graphic minimal gameplay minimal difficulty minimal effort stick figure sniping game so I can make a bunch of money without having to try and make a good game. Thanks for continuing to support garbage, Kongregate!
As long as people rate these games well and earn the developers a few bucks, the easy-to-make stick person sniper games will not end. Figure it out, people.
And one last thing while I'm ranting, why can't I change my teammates' battle plans (Phalanx and such) at ANY time when someone is moving, not just my team or when I have about 1 second to select my ability?
Also, the Command menu really bs's me a lot when I try to use buffs and stuff on teammates. It seems to think I'm selecting a different teammate when the buff is in certain position, or I'll scroll just a little bit off and the whole thing with disappear and I'll have to re-click and wait for it to fade in. Mixed with the fact the Heroic gives you little time to make your move, this can really screw you up unfairly.
Okay, honestly, did they even try to balance the game under Heroic settings? If not using Training battles unlocks Zone 7, then I somehow doubt the creators of the game got a legitimate character to Zone 7 without committing suicide. The enemies that get heals can last 10 or 15 minutes and a lot of bosses get moves that might as well be one-hit KOs. It's entirely nonsense to make Training Battles so they can't be used if you want Zone 7.
For all its tiny flaws, this is one of the best Flash games I've played. It's highly underrated.
You're gonna be playing this for a long time, and grinding is really not that bad in this game. It's pretty swift.
