Pay2win fiesta at its best. Moneygates everywhere, a rigged tavern, as optimized as an overcooked potato, always the same type of events but with different colors and the last update has been over 2 years ago. You can really feel that the developers dont give a damn about the game or their playerbase, at least the ones that arent paying absurd amounts of money.
You can upgrade your towers, you can lvl up your heroes, the pvp factor is really fun, you have technologies to give your towers and heroes a little extra boost, your heroes and (later on) your towers have a skill tree, even the equipment and the gems are upgradeable.
It is a game that is really fun if you play it slow. However, this game has ONE big problem. And this problem is the almighty gatekeeper called Diamonds (= Kreds). The scale goes from "pay X diamonds to dismiss a cooldown" all over to events with rewards you literally cant get without paying an insane amount of kreds (and we are talking about equipment that costs like 15€ a piece, if not even more).
The players who invest money have such a huge advantage, that its impossible for a free 2 player to keep up. It could be such a great game, but instead they turned it into a abomination of a free 2 play game.
