Logged in for the first time in roughly a year. Couldnt remember which save file I had on this laptop... Saw the screen and was like... WHAT?!... then I saw the caps, and they've been raised, once again... WHAT?!! Imediately checked my possessions... HOW MANY DIGITS IS THAT??!!!... Then I proceeded to go back to pressing the button vigorously for 2 hours for the business rewards (My favorite part was gettin all them boxes @ 100% business) I was takin' care of business... But I guess i'm the only one wierd enough to like getting perfects (very rarely). :/
For optimal effects in enchanting only 134% potion enhancement is needed to achieve +3 mana regen on equipment (the most sought after enchantment due to need for healing, transmutation etc.) This also applies to base +2% exp to 3% etc. etc. Although the other 4% potion enhancement may still be helpful for potion crafting.
About my previous comment regarding the museum artifact bug, To the Developer of this game: It seems like a nice little new game+ thing you could use instead of removing it; It would give a reason to replay the game up to completion with 1 new artifact in hand from a previous playthrough.
To the dev; as well as all players; Here's an exploit/bug you can manipulate to potentially clear the game in 1 run: go through the game in a normal manner; clear the game completely, level up potion efficiency (enhances enchant ability on equips) place the desired artifact in the museum; WITHOUT REFRESHING!!!! Save the game and then clear the data, you can choose ONLY 1 artifact from the museum, after one is picked all others disappear. (YOU CANT SWITCH TABS OR IT ALL DISAPPEARS SO MAKE SURE YOU'RE ON THE DESIRED MUSEUM TAB FOR THE SPECIFIED ARTIFACT BEFORE YOU RESET DATA!!!)
@ CRITGAME please make sure you place the donate button in a highly visible spot when you set up the game; and please clarify that you have made so little off such a great creation. I know where you're coming from on the subject b/c this is a great game and so few ppl realize the genius coding you've put into the battle mechanics. (i.e. balance stat seems simple but obviously is not, and seems to utilize calculus concepts)
Also one more thing to add; You need to make the game difficulty a LOT harder, I'm not bragging about this because I've played it for 15 minutes, and I beat hard mode @ wave 13 on the 50waves difficulty. According to your game, that's the hardest the game could possibly be, which is a bit of a joke, but I rated you as 4* because I think the game has potential if you make it have more of an incremental feel. Also, I understand that you made the normal shop have several resource conversions to make the best troops, but the resource conversions should, instead, be a lot more narrow or you should reduce the number of slots available to allow hotkeys to be used instead. Placement of troops as the current setup stands, has nothing to do with strategy, so a simple click and auto placement would be nice. I find it annoying to have to click several times for something so simple.
To the Developer: The game is somewhat straightforward, but if you could do an actual interactive tutorial to explain how the mechanics of the game works, it would be better. Also, a hover tooltip on each item in the shop would be nice to allow players to understand what they are getting.
Here's an example of what it looks like to pass walls consecutively; for beginners. Pay close attention to the rhythm of button presses to keep yourself steady to pass through the middle of the holes.
Full crit + x5 crit damage + high special % + bolt lightning + x2 damage mod = a LOT of damage if you roll 600% damage with bolt lightning... I managed 53k damage with it. Without x2 damage I only do 25k-ish damage, my code: 356643x40s32e8E2d24s11F1s4u16265P500C60U85n30m10u10c10u210u1245x1r49aKite
Having 100% critical chance and +% in any other strike enhancer (proc/chop/cleave/etc.) will make you practically strike 2 times if you deal a strike with any of the above. In other words, if you had +100% in all of them (probably not possible) you would strike that many times per hit. + to keep comment alive.
Is thief supposed to be the most challenging class again in this make of cardinal quest? It seems impossible to get a good weapon for him toward the beginning of the game.
Anyone got tips on finding more souls? I can only seem to grab around 150 per run. It's expensive to refill my "Find more butterflies" when it's at lv 77.
One thing I noticed, the % of the classes go off of the base stats, not modified stats, could this be adjusted? if given a boost of over 100%, it would be more beneficial to include item stats in the percent change.
Correction on the series I asked the developer to look at, its the "My Pet Protector" series, I didn't want it to seem like it was mine, I do not own it but it was an awesome series
A few things to spice up game play would be to allow customization of weapon skills on a weapon, or allowance to reduce cool down time after specific abilities. If you added some type of forge for this, it would make things more interesting (if you chose not to allow customization of weapon skills, at least consider allowing a forge to add +1 to a weapon up to level 10 weapons (each level yields a % more on it's stats, and each next level increases the current quantity by that %, not just the base stat), however, I would love to be able to deselect 2-thrust and have only shadow slash on my weapon so that I can have a better combo-building character)
