Pretty cool. It would be nicer if the enemies were slightly easier to kill, if the player's bullets were faster, and if you could still move the player's ship if you moved the mouse outside of the window.

Decent game, great potential. Here's a few changes I think would make things better:
1 Slightly more zoomed out view so you can see more on screen at once
2 Center the screen slightly in front of the player rather than having the player dead center all the time. This will enable you to see further ahead
3 Have weapon switch on the mouse wheel
4 Make special weapons more powerful
5 Allow you to quickly fire a grenade/purple laser by pressing a hotkey
