First time through... Got hit on the 3rd boss, but didn't get hit any other time. Time to try for the impossible badge! Mouse controls win over keyboard controls every time in this game.
I, too, just finished the 101 without an achievement. I don't feel too bad, though, because the game glitched out and told me my gold was "NaN" or Not a Number. Basically, it meant I could build anything without worry.
What the heck!? On level 6, I have the wave length fully upgraded and didn't let a single enemy through. I could not even get the Silver badge -.- There's something seriously wrong with that.
Man, that last level is hard. No time to think and very little map detail! I've gotten there at least 8 times. Why does it ask for Mauritania on that level!?! Can't it ask for France or something :P
The scoring system could use some work. It's almost impossible to beat the later missions without upgrades, and the first missions require upgrades to get gold medals. Which means you need to play each level twice just to get the badges.
I like the game. It could be a bit harder at the beginning or faster-paced. The game doesn't start getting challenging until the 15th level or so, and even then the enemies don't do much damage.
