@Metalrodent Check the Kongpanions page. Everyone of them has some tags associated to them (for example, Kongbot has "robot" and "kongregate"). If you upgrade one of those tags, that Kongpanion who has them will level up. Some tags are more common than another (animal is the best example). Hope that explains it!
To everyone complaining about the lack of mute: There is one, albeit sort of hidden. Once in game, press Esc (pause) and press Options. You can adjust the volume level from there.

You're getting really good at Unity, I have to say. It's indeed challening, but it does worth thinking about them. The enviroment itself is simplistic, but it does the job perfectly. Another great game, keep it up! ^^
Seeing this is your first game, it's a great start! It needs polishing, but I already like it! It's not easy on the start, but even harder to master.
The things I would like to see: More levels, animated background for the menu, some more things to upgrade and if you add more things, than you should adjust the money gotten from completed levels, too. :)
Also, the "Quit" button on the main menu is useless as it is, I'd recommend removing it. And the last thing, get the audio on by default and add a mute button. I first thought there's no music. :o

For everyone complaining about the boss. The strategy is: Dodge its bullets and when it bumps into the ground, shoot one at it. Do this five times and you should be fine. =)
@kidder4life31 You most probably didn't collect enough "things" for your diet. You have to eat 4 things for each breathing power. Like for healing, eat 4 shining blue things.
Finally! Got the hard badge! This game is just awesome. Not too easy, not too hard. The boss fight was intense. Congratulations Greg Sergeant and I hope you'll make more games like this! :)
@da mini boss They haven't copied Raze. If you take a look at the developer, you will see, that it's the same as Raze's developer. But this much better. :)
It needs some more badge like "Get all Medals" and/or "Kill 100 enemies", "Get to lvl 50 with any class". Press +, if you think this too.
