Luck is NOT the decisive factor in Kongai. Let the fact that there are people with high rank points. When u are at a decent rank u can't maintain it by 1:1 win-loss ratio. U need something like 2:1 or even 3:1 at the highest rank to stay where u are, not to mention climbing up. The fact that people are that high should be a good enough argument. Obviously, when u miss a power toss u can say that u lost a game because of lock, but with decent skill u can make recoveries after such unlucky stuff (even wothout aid of luck). U tend to remember the most harmful things that happenned to u, that's obvious. A few days ago I lost a game having 95% 4 the win and l8r another 98%. But I realize luck helped me also quite a few times. And don't say u lost a game because u missed a poison dart and he didn't, that's just a minor advantage that if u are good u should manage 2 deal with.
@midg 3333: If you have for instance 2 Curse Ring debuffs on you the hit rate of a normally 100% attack becomes 81% (100%*90%*90%), NOT 80% (100%-2*10%). Hence five Shadow Curses don't make you always miss, but decrease your hit rate (if your attack is originally 100%) to exactly 32,768% (100%*80%^5). Cheers!
@pooh555, oneside, frabjous True, Andromeda used to have Kick in beta (20 Energy, 12 Damage) as far as I remember, but that's not what made her too strong. They nerfed her, because she was probably the strongest character in tyhe game for a while. She used 2 have "When range is set to far Andromeda regains 10 additional energy" innate in the beta, what made her godly. They changed her innate to the current one and changed Kick to Lightning Arrow to make up for nerfing her. Andromeda doesn't have close range attacks, so she is original. She kind of corresponds to Ashi, who only has close range attacks. Many of you will say she's weak, but she has her function of one of game's best counter-tanks and is a finisher at the same time. One last thing: I agree with frabjous: Andromeda should only have one breast=)
@Unholy strenght and other card trading enthusiasts:
I understand many people say trading cards is a good idea, but that can't be put into life for a simple reason. People would make multiple accounts (it's hard to stop or catch them), earn challenge cards, trade them for whatever cards they lack in their main profile and make the trades between their profiles. That would put an end to the idea of earning cards by playing on Kongregate, since anybody could get all the cards he wanted really quickly.
It's a decent racing game. I like the intuitive controls and the fact that joining races lasts seconds. The Mad Hatter Badge also adds to this game, because it's quite a challenge. I'm just slightly concerned about the last 3 campaign levels, because races there are too luck based. All depends on what power-up you get, other luck factors or if you have a propeler hat. For instance in Candyland, if a non-noob gets a Teleport in the beginning, other players have practically no chance, even if he makes a couple of mistakes. Still, a great game and I'm waiting for Platform Racing 3:)
Great concept and pretty cool puzzles (even though they are rerelatively undemanding). Just one more thing. I know it's subjective, but I find your sense of humour hopeless (no offence;p)- consider sparing it to us in Shift 3. Overall, still fun:)
At first I had slightly disappointed with the game. It was good, but I was expecting something incredible, since Kongai was advertised so much. However, the more I play, the more I like the game. It really requires great strategy and forces you to try to predict the opponent's next game. Also you made a great job balancing the characters. At first I was thinking that some characters, such as for instance Cornelius are more powerful than the others, but once I got better I realized that all the characters are practically equal and the secret of building a powerful deck is picking characters that work well together. Certainly the best CCG I have ever played and probably the best game on Kongregate:)
A perfect puzzle game:) The controls are perfectly intuitive, you can quickly do anything you want on the cube and focus on thinking. Moreover it is more challenging than the first part. There I got stuck on 2 levels, here I struggled with about 10. I loved the last level. It kind of used all the complex patterns you could imagine in this game. A perfect final level was, to me, what the first part lacked. The only thing I disliked was the graphics and the story mode. I know it was supposed to be relaxing and so on, but I still prefered the simple graphics of the first part that made clear it's the puzzles that matter in the game. Guess that's subjective, though:) I really respect that you did all you could to avoid passing the game with walkthroughs (random cube position, random colors). Obviously someone with a brain would still be able to use the walkthrough properly, but you did everything possible, so at least total morons will not get the badge. I'm impressed, incredible job;p
Awesome concept. Slaughtering those villagers is so relaxing;p The first hard badge is easy, but the last 10 levels of the game are really challenging. Brilliant game, favorited:)
Certainly the easiest impossible badge on Kongregate. To me it's for instance by far easier than the hard badge on SCGMD2. You just have to find the patterns of movement on every part. Nevertheless a nice and very creative game. Had fun, though getting the impossible badge took me a while and at times it seemed frustrating. Guess it's because I don't have a sense of rtythm at all;p
The hard badge is probably the easiest one on Kongregate, they should have made it medium. Completing hard, not normal mode should have been the hard badge requirement. Endurance mode was truly hard. If you wanna get an impossible badge, as I did, remain focused at all times and desperately avoid "bonus" balls. An extra ball at a level other than 14 is as good as suicide. Generally a nice, simple, classical game. Really enjoyed it;p
