Yes, I am perfectly aware of the cycles. They still need to launch each of them manually. When there is nobody at the office, they do not start. This happened last year, several times.
This is actually a bug caused by the clan war, Xalendare. When a clan war is happening, opening any other event [after opening the war?] (the ones like "Rogues", rune cave, fog of war...) can completely freeze the game.
Archerbob, to increase the rarity of an item, open it in the workshop (if not euipped) or in the heroes tab (if euipped), then click "reforge". Chest will only give common items (as far as I know).
Would it be possible to reduce the size of the game? If not, different button layouts would be nice. Right now, I have to continuously scroll up and down to reach each row of buttons, and this kills the fun (which is a shame because this game could be enojoyable). Usually, in big games like this I can hide a bit of the top and a bit of the bottom then I can play (almost) normally. This is not possible here, so being able to move every button either at the top or the bottom would greatly help.
I improved building information layout, so it now also shows scroll. But I think this might not help here, please PM me with a screenshot how it looks for you. I can then improve it.
There is a (invisible) hole in level 59: https://prnt.sc/Wtnvc8EK7Jwf
A bonbon always passes through the part that I circled in blue, making me fail the level.
I have never played a tower defense game that lets players create the field themselves until this one; this is a very interesting feature. Another thing that I love is that upgrades are disabled in competitive modes. I do not remember many games focusing this much on the strategy aspect for tournaments... even though I do not remember playing tower defense games with a tournament mode specifically haha. There are two things I would like to suggest, however. First, playfields end up getting pretty big, pretty fast: it would be nice to be able to zoom it in and out (or to get a mini-version of it in a corner) in order to navigate more easily (I searched for something like this but did not find it). My other suggestion would be to add... scroll bars to menus. I do not know where this habit of removing them for a dragging feature comes from, but there is nothing better than a scroll bar!
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you're enjoying the game. You can already zoom in/out with the mouse wheel or by using the "Q" and "E" hotkeys. There is also some other way to zoom using a laptop trackpad, but I forget how that works... there is some additional key you need to press at the same time. Scroll bar menus are in the works :). Many others have requested that as well.
To anyone playing on Edge and facing the "your browser does not support WebGL" issue despite having hardware acceleration enabled: go to edge://flags and enable "Override software rendering list". Before doing this edge://gpu was showing a lot of disabled things but no longer. Fixing the issue in Chrome is probably similar. As a bonus, the game plays smoother than it does in Firefox... at least for me.
Powerful gear is obtained by synthesising an item increasing health. similarly, one obtains bulky items by synthesising an item increasing power. You can do so in the magical synthesizer.
This game is incredibly fun but... it desperately needs a way to modify movement keys or at least give alternate keys.
I was surprised to see that it automatically recognized that I had an AZERTY keyboard and adapted to this by switching movement to ZqSD. This is a very nice addition (even though it is NOT stated anywhere!). Unfortunately... people like me who have half of these keys broken will have to face an excessively hard game.
Just adding the arrow keys as alternate controls would solve this issue (and more).
