@Djirtsdew : Of course, spending Kreds speeds up the game; but it is definitively possible to compete while playing for free. So, this may not be a 0% p2w game, but it's not 100% p2w either.
This game *isn't* p2w, despite what it may look like by reading recent comments. It seems that a lot of players got here recently because of the recent badges addition and wrote those negative comments after playing no more than a few minutes.
I've been intensively playing this game for roughly 4 weeks now, didn't invest a signle Kred in it, and I find it really good.
@Marauder : if your luck is high enough, you can get epic items quite often when gambling and some of these items will be way more potent than the drops you get. I'd suggest luck > 200, tho, maybe even more.
The tip jar has been removed from kong a few months ago. @developper : Maybe you could add an in-game option to give a small amount of money to your paypal account. Furthermore, if kong allows it, giving money could be a requirement to join the highscore and pvp.
5/5 Game. You need to rebalance the skills and weapons, tho : at the moment, a "sword+dagger+life drain+mana shield+lightning pet" build is OP, imo. Also, here are 2 ideas that could make the game more interesting once you "finished" it. 1: Have a time counter that starts at 0 when you create a new game and that is *not* reset when you reborn. The time counter would stop once you reach a certain goal (like maybe, kill the first 26k mob) and there would be a time-counter highscore (the lower the better) 2: When creating a new game, allow to sacrifice (=destroy) another save file and import 1 item or 1 pet from that save file. This game is already very good, but I'm pretty sure it can become awesome with some more development. Keep on the good work :)
+1 with everyone complaining about the manual save exploit : I never used it, 'cause it would spoil a great part of the game. Maybe I'm a masochist, though.
At some point, the game still is about getting the highest possible luck (like, luck=1000). On the short term (= a few days) this can be a fun goal, but it still seems to break the game on a longest run.
Still, I think the game is original and interesting. Very nice addition to the continuing story of RPG-like games, Critgame !
how comes the top 25 blacksmith all have a score of at least 50 ?
To achieve such a score, you need to have a +50 object... which seems almost impossible without cheating (chance to up an object to +50 is well under 1 out of a billion)
Nice game. But isn't the drop rate a bit too high right now ? Epic itemps seem to drop so often that there's not much satisfaction in getting one anymore.
Finished the game on day 43 ^^
I'd recommend "buying" the 1st family.
For the others families, attack all 4 places at once (need 200 mobsters) and, on the next day, buy the territory they just took back. That way, any war will last no more than a day. And dont forget to buy back your reputations to 100% after the war is over ;)
When does one need to think (except at the very start) in this game ?
After golems are upgraded, it's just a piece of cake.
Replaying a level, whatever rank you completed it, just increases the easyness of the following levels.
Sure, the graphics are nice, but the game overall offers no challenge.
