@pika anything (except commanders) in the Inventory tab of the upgrade screen can be salvaged by a button near the bottom left. (Items in the deck tab cannot until they are removed from your decks)
I'm thinking about making a version of this that uses as3 and not as2. Also (@tundrum) maybe a Unity one? I'm a beginner at unity right now so that'd be a learning experience for me as well.
I find it frustrating that during animations that last about 10 seconds per round, we're prevented form mousing over monster abilities to see what they are.
Restarted my computer to be sure, and opened only this game.. it uses more CPU and memory than my computer can handle - even this text box I'm typing in is lagging a half second behind.. how exactly does one make a text-only game so expensive? Am I the only person experiencing this?
Could you make mouse controls register when the mouse is offscreen? Right now it registers it as (event location: 0,0) and kamikazes the player into the top left.
I don't think there's any way for me to do that (I really wish Kongregate supported fullscreen for Flash games). A workaround is holding a mouse button down while it leaves the screen - it should still detect it if you do that.
This memory+CPU leak really ought to be fixed. It's like every enemy you kill keeps running its animations and event listeners permanently. Currently my processors are maxed out and memory use is at 1.32 gigabytes.
I had a rather fancy preloaded going, but it didn't work too well [read: at all] on the web, so I'm afraid you'll have to tolerate the default flash screen for now.
>>File is 13.8 megabytes, so given how fast your downloads normally go, you know how long that is. Apologies!
