This game is a bloody mess. Every second I interact with this game is an exercise in frustration. The UI is so thoroughly ugly and unintuitive that I would scoff at it if the game had been recently published, but it's been up for 3 years! There might be a good game hidden beneath the ugly, ugly graphics and the clunky, carpal-tunel-syndrome inducing UI, who knows? But there could also be a teapot orbiting around Jupiter and I have no reason to invest any time or effort in finding out.
You guys are great game developers. I can't begin to imagine the creativity and artistic vision that it took to design the intricate mechanics of this game. And asking the players to watch ads for ingame currency? Truly groundbreaking. I hope you will be remembered for making a brave stand against the wave of mechanically innovative, well-written, enjoyable games that threatens to improve the industry.
-[Without "Innocent until proven guilty"] Power hungry prosecutors would run innocent men into the ground, with defense attorneys having to fight against ridiculous odds just to prove them innocent.
-It sounds terrible!
-Yes it truly would be
-(Might make an interesting game, though)
Magnificent reference!!!
@Belam I tried the set up of the pic and it's a theoretically a valid solution, but the game doesn't accept it. Which can be confusing, because it's simpler and more intuitive than the standard solution.
The number wheels where funny :D It's the kind of puzzle where you make progress very quickly, but then you are stuck at the end with the last two pieces in the wrong place and you wonder how the hell you are going to clean that up.
There's a solution to the excess of money: don't grind levels for early upgrades. Just play through the game and you will get enough money to max the important upgrades.
If I'm not mistaken, first Eve puzzle can't be solved by deduction alone. I needed to use trial and error to guess some key squares, and I'm willing to to believe it has different possible solutions (even though the game only accepts one). This shouldn't happen in a picross game.
There are some overpowered combinations: ► Ping with range and amplifier, followed by Ping with amage and optimizer (destroys swarm monsters) ► Decoder with fork, multiplier (damage in early game) and linker for sturdy enemies (the boss is no match for them)
On the last fight, I got 100% defense and 155% counter thanks to an awesome combo. On the next turn the monster gets a Rage attack. I felt pity for him :_-(
