I find it frustratig in these games when you have all the clues and have the general plot figured out but then you have to switch back and forth between options until the exact specifications are met. I knew exactly who was guilty but I couldn't figure out the right combo of clues needed so I just took the first option that appeared. Anticlimactic, but I couldn't be bothered to swap around clues.
It's actually less complicated than it looks, you just need to combine those three-four deductions needed for each theory.. Besides, they all make sense once you get the right combination, don't they? But I still get what you mean, I might expeeriment with something a little different with the next episode...
There's a principle in visual media called "show, don't tell"
This game had WAY too much text to be entertaining. Why have 4 cahracters TELL me there are 4 hand scanners rather than just bloody showing it?
i found it super insensitive. Quit after seeing the dumb stereotypical arab icon forthe bad guys.
Way to ring nuance into a culturally complex and nuanced conflict, you guys.
I feel dirty now.
Feedback: The story is a chore to get through.
Why is the store a demon? Why is the room so huge when you only have Achievement wall, Skill table and Store? And why force the player to walk to those locations? This makes levelling a chore and it's damn tedious considering the character speed.
Also: BLUE IS MANA RED IS HEALTH
It took me F*ching ages to realize the "Souls" were money and the blue souls were XP: Why change a winning formula? This doesn't mean you're inventive, it means you don't speak the visual language that video games have very firmly established.
