If anyone becomes unable to complete the game because they surpassed 1 billion mph, just continue to research speed until you surpass 2.1 billion (you should go into negatives after that point, allowing you to land)
As much as I like resetting faster, the progress is TOO fast now. with the money I had, I went from resetting for 100k to resetting for 10kY2. After a minute I resetted again for 10EY4. After another 2 minutes, I resetted again for 50TY8.
I'm sure somewhere between what's been before and what you have now, there's a sweet spot that makes it worth playing the game for a day or 2 before making a reset worthwhile.
so after some afk arena farming (2h), I bought the pirate. NOT worth it. at lvl2, it has 9 damage, 75hp, and he doesn't throw the bombs - he leaves them behind as he walks (one bomb every 4s) - overall, a melee unit weaker than the warrior. I'm not even going to waste my time to get any other unit.
level 10 is very counterintuitive, since how fast new waves show up depends on the boss health. so if you try to kill the boss as fast as possible, you're screwed. on the other hand, if you take your time, and just destroy units and his rockets, trying to damage him as little as possible, it'll be a piece of cake.
