I can't get the "Winning in the Rain" award because it won't rain on any of my races. I've played enough to beat the game and get every award but it still hasn't rained. =\
I would really like to see an upgrade all rooms / promote all workers button, as I have over $1 trillion but am too lazy to spend it all. Also, a lot of the objectives don't count if you had previously satisfied the objective before it showed up (for instance, there was an objective to buy 3 elevator shafts at once but by the time i worked my way up through the object list to that i had already bought the 3 shafts and had to buy three more). Also, there really was not need to expand the height of the buildings to floor 120 (i barely made it to 30). Other than that, this really was a great game! 5/5!
@Bakamoichigei You actually CAN complete the game (I just did). You can boost your way past your line max once you purchase the ultra boost upgrade and thereby catch the rest of the fish.
I think its funny (not in a good way) how all the platform obstacles that are supposed to help you get higher, really just end up killing your fall speed and minimize your bounce capabilities. I'd say 4 out of 5 times, the obstacles stopped me from falling down rather than help me go up, which is a real bummer when i'm going 500 mph in the horizontal and falling from a top height of 10,000 feet, expecting my grenade bounce to get me to 11,000 feet and 300 ft before the ground I hit a bird which launches me back up by maybe 10 feet, and all of the sudden, all of my bounce momentum is gone.
i'm on endless at level 41, and i think i'm stuck as a result of frame rate lag.... then again, this game doesn't seem so CPU intensive.... whatever it is, having over a hundred greencoats and maybe 10-15 grand cannons and about 8 machine guns (forget the name) is slowing down the flow of the game tremendously when grouped up with the waves that are approaching.
so. I managed to accidentally glitch myself behind the map....
It was in the crew quarters level, i walked into the level, killed the zombie, noticed the blue door as well as the fact that i couldn't get into it... so i jumped into it and i guess i jumped into a level crack or something, cause i'm behind the background art...
my strategy was to upgrade my refineries first, then my lasers up full. In game i would rush my factories and build a laser or two, making sure to get a gravity well in there. from there it was a balancing act between upgrading and placing more lasers and destroying my opponents with the 3 available attacks. Its a good game, but since this strategy is pretty much fail-proof, it was too easy.
To be honest... the dialogue style really killed this game for me. There is just too much unnecessary text that is not vital to the plot of the story, you give the player a run around in the dialogue that honestly ended up boring the crap out of me. Usually I like a good plot in my games, but this was just too dry for me to handle without a (skip dialogue button). other than that, good gameplay.
i think i found a glitch... i shot a cannon literally straight up, no motion horizontally, landed back in the cannon, and the game registered that as the geek stopping. Plus, now during the geek's walking back animation, the geek has the flames all around him....
i don't mind that, this is pretty cool lol
great game btw
