The Most Effective Tactic Available is Defense. Your defense is subtracted flat from enemy damage. If you have 20 defense and the enemy has 20 attack, you take zero damage. Find the item and enchantment combination to counter each enemies' different attack levels, and you're invincible. Add just a little bit of health and mp regeneration, and you're unstoppable. You can switch armor as much as you want, so you can make different loadouts to deal with every enemy in the game. Easy win in under 20 runs.
I got Over the Ashes with Psycho!
If you want to get the badge, I'd recommend fully investing into Traumatize, Shock Therapy, Free Will, Electrical Storm, and Charged Blood in generally that order.
Being able to stun enemies for 4 turns is really OP for boss battles so you can heal, set up, or wait for cooldowns while destroying focus.
Later on, you'll want Ultimatum: It's completely broken; put on Free Will then Ultimatum and you're functionally invincible.
Sometimes you'll need to re-spec all your points into Vitality to just survive the first turns.
*IMPORTANT* Using Wraith form will sometimes allow you to take two turns in a row, and if any enemy is stunned as you go into Wraith form, it will almost definitely allow you to take two turns in a row. THIS IS NOT FREE. The second turn after Wraith form ends, THE ENEMY WILL TAKE A DOUBLE TURN. Don't let this hidden mechanic mess your plans up, and you've got it.
I got the legend badge, but the mayor glitched out or something? He dispelled his enraged buff after doing one attack with it... so I just killed him>.
Going for the Impossible badge is ridiculous. So much luck you never really notice when you're allowed to fail. Forget about random misses, sometimes the enemies take double turns. Your teammates are your enemies as much as the monsters are because you don't know what anyone is going to do ever. I love this game though, so I shall prevail
Yeah, maybe I could have done that. Still, I kinda like how the final fight actually has nothing to do with typing, because it cements the game's slow transition from being a typing game to being a bullet-heck game.
So, you wanna know what this game is, huh? You're a bar of soap tasked with collecting coins and making near frame and pixel perfect jumps repeatedly. Infuriating and stupid game with momentum mechanics that don't make sense, unforgiving and unfair level design, and too many mechanics that are just there and are never fleshed out to any degree. 4/10. I did get the 9.50 so that's not why I'm complaining.
Fun platformer that leverages all of its mechanics to their best. I don't really care to get all the endings, but the trials the game puts you through are fun, and the skills that the player receives are original and interesting. Good game: 8.7/10. The only complaints I could possibly have would be art and music, but they do what they must for this game.
This is a flash classic. It left a huge impression on me when I found it in elementary school, and I couldn't help coming back to it now so I can beat hard mode.
Really tedious and repetitive; could you add checkpoints? Maybe switch to WASD and tie rotation to spinning the mouse around a set point instead of Q and E which don't make any sense at allll
