Hmmm... while it's nice to have more girls, I think that before you focus on that, you should probably try to improve the "active" and "dating sim" parts of the game first... At this point in time, the game has followed many other idle game's dirty footsteps, being too idle.
For all the ones who are making of the gifts' price... Have you ever thought that perhaps the currency here is not USD or "gold" but another one? I mean RELATIVELY those prices kiiiinda make more sense.
hmmm... the Hobbies fix was really nice, but even in this state, I estimated that it'll still take approximately 2.5 years to reach Lv. 50, with a 9.30x multiplier AND gilding. Perhaps you can do something about this? :) At least it's not centuries and can actually be done in a lifetime, but still...
@Arcimpulse According to my calculations, around 24514653 YEARS until Lv. 50. I'm dead serious. That's why I said just increasing the multiplier was NOT a good idea and the hobbies are NOT fine as they are no matter how you look at it.
(continuing my last comment) Besides, I don't think a large multiplier will work well with this game either. Many of you have presented AdCap and some other games as examples but hell, this is not AdCap! Having girls becoming my lover in one sec and seeing dates being done with in 0.001 second just... feels quite uneasy to me.
Guys... many of you have suggested increasing the multiplier instead of shortening the hobbies' leveling time, but I personally think this is not a good idea. Remember, the multiplier affects EVERYTHING, not just the hobbies, so if they increase the multiplier to a point where the hobbies make sense (probably something like x5000), everything will progress way too darn fast, date screens won't even have time to flash and the chat button won't even have a cool down time. Plus, your money will go off the charts very soon and you can max level every job in one sec. You see, I think everything else is fine as it is (the gift and date prices need to be MORE EXPENSIVE, even. Now I have over $120 mil. a day and I don't know what to possibly do with it, and that's at a "mere" x5.7 multiplier with a Lv. 8 Hunting job), ONLY the hobbies are broken. So what's needed to be fixed is the hobbies, not the multipliers.
@gangnus There's a thing as roles in a game development group, and there's also a thing as days off. There are also things called learning and development time too, all of which affected the balance of this game.
First, the game designer (responsible for deciding how long leveling up a hobby should take) took a vacation, then the programmer (responsible for actually modifying the hobby's level-up time) took one. This is also their first game, and they admitted that they still have "a lot to learn".
At least the remaining guys actively monitored the game and its players' opinions, as well as fixed/adjust everything they can, even if it's just minor stuff.
Guys, the items in the shop change based on which items you are equipping, not which level you're currently at. If you have a legendary, high-level item and equip it when you go to the shop, the items in the shop in that category (hero's armor/weapon, ship's armor/weapon) will change so that every item in the shop is better than that legendary item you have, which also mean they'll be a lot, lot more expensive.
I still agree that the shop as a whole is pretty frustrating and useless though. :/
Hmm... When you make Into Space 4, how about taking a look back at Into Space 2, play it again a few times, etc.? IS2 was one of the greatest, if not THE very greatest, launching games of all time. It was perfect for its time, and even now it's still better than this one in many aspects. IS3 introduced new cool things, sure, but IS2 has great balance, fun missions (and by that I mean IS2 missions, not the clichéd IS3-type missions that's used by pretty much every game these days really), choices of builds when you unlock a new tier of rocket parts, all of which I really liked. IS3 just feels too gimmicky and seasonal, grindy, boring at times, missile parts are pretty much the same, just get generally better stats, doesn't feel like a journey into space (and onto another planet), and the missions are gone.
