don't understand how this game matches people.... i am level 8 and i am fighting lv 50,42,50,39 for the past four battles

Why are level 4 bronze player match up with level 26 gold player in league? How does a level 4 player complete quest 11: open a pack ? I am level 4 now. Am I supposed to start grinding for 1-3 gold per battle just to open ONE pack ? How on earth does a new player know that the free starter pack MUST not be used or opened until you are at certain quest ? Have fun everyone. 1/5
