combination tips:
1. combine a ring with flail, then only combine flails into this ring. this is how you keep 100% crit with only one ring, while increasing damage.
2. combine two wrath of god gets you a hellwrath. combine all your hellwrath to one ring like the flail ring. this is how you keep 10x crit damage with only one ring, while also increasing damage.
3. combining scythe to all your other rings to compensate the insane knockback you get from your flail ring and your hellwrath ring. also damage.
4. combine staff with the same type of staff to increase range. use low level staff to save money because damage from staff is not important as long as you have all those rings.
5. farm noname from the unknown boss. combine the ones with the most attack speed into your other equipments.
if you find the game too hard, you are playing it wrong. farm enough soulbound items before you reset. combine the best items you can find into those soulbounds. you shouldn't have any problems if you do this enough.
then you need a damage dealer. that would be the archer. give him all damage oriented items. it's okay if he becomes a glass cannon if you build the MT and OT right. make sure his range is longer than OT. the last hero is the one that survives until the last. because he can take it. because he's not our hero. he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a dark night ring bearer. he will have the longest range and keep enemies at range. make him the only one in your team with a potion chugger ring. besides those, you can either give him a lot of hp or make him the secondary damage dealer, depending on available items. if you do this right you should have no problem with any boss.
you should always have a team. first, make a main tank that focus on hp and self heal items, naturally the warrior. give him a melee weapon and the fastest move speed. so he's always right in front of the mobs. he should also have at least one item with taunt just in case. second you need an off tank. this is to hold off the mobs when MT is down for the second time, at which point the dark night ring will usually still have a few more seconds of CD to go. this job is best for the healer. give her hp and mass heal items. let she use a range attack with the shortest range but no "keep enemies at range" property so she's always right behind MT and ready to take over.
do NOT listen to Wcpapiertje below me. he has no idea what he's talking about. do NOT focus on only one hero. do NOT reset until you get all the soulbound items. do NOT combine anything to SB except the high level items from the bosses. even those should be the top ones out of at least 5-10 reruns each. do NOT sell the SB that you don't need. they can still be used to gain extra combination charges and later combined into your equipped SB. the more resets you carry them through, the greater help they will become later on.
game is pretty solid for what it is now. next time please add some more features. wishlist: more hero classes; special skills for each class; class restricted equipments (unlike the non class restricted class rings which are currently useless); bonus for two hand weapons e.g. attack multiple targets in one swing so they are not just combinator fodder.
glitch: when i stack my attack speed too high, the ???? boss can be pushed over walls. in this case none of the characters can attack it. you can only kill it by tapping, which is fine but very annoying.
