Seriously though, I love this game. My only complaint is that it ends. Maybe add more islands that you can link together and get new resources from?
Could characters with boosting skills (non-self-DPS) get a small, partial bonus every ten levels or so? Betty boosting others a little for higher levels, and Midas giving extra gold?
After I got 4 (including me) to 2nd lvl Machine Guns and some upgrades to Dex and Pwr the game sort of crashed... the coinbox went to deadface, the bullet lines stopped disappearing, and the coins stopped moving. Bug?
The scroll bars will often mess up, making it difficult to navigate menus/inventories. Also, in the merchant shop, it is impossible to go back up to the "All" category without exitting and then reentering the shop. The hunting should probably be made harder, so that you go back and forth between hunting and capturing cities. It would be nice if we could pass through our own lines to get to the front (though I understand that it would be hard to make that work without breaking physics). All in all, a great game, 4/5.
I agree with p0x0rz' ideas, those would be cool. Other ideas; fall damage, jetpack (battery powered, with efficiency and power upgrades), and emergency single-use battery (for jetpack recharge to get to the surface to recharge. All in all, great game. 5/5
If a party of a fighter and shielder with maxed out health/armor gear, and with a few hours grinding in the graveyard, can do nothing but revive potion back and forth, then the balancing might be a little off. -Normal mode, not even on a boss...
Mh... Im not sure, you are having problems with a boss? notice that are some spells that will "kill you" almost no Mather what (in boss battles) ... if you are having problems with the normal battles, try giving your party more damage maybe? love potions are always handy against strong enemy waves.
Also, when blacksmihing skill is leveled up, the item can't be destroyed, but the upgade can fail, wasting the money used and going down a level. This is especially costly when the skill leel is high enough to auto-upgrade to 5 or more, because it still fails a lot of the time, using up a lot of money. As always, thanks for listening :)
It would also be nice to be able to choose which types of items you keep in the same way you can choose how rare to keep, e.g.: if I use a melee guy, then bows and crossbows are not helpfull, so auto-sell them. Thanks for listening :)
Overall great game. One nce addition would be for loot that you have upgraded to be worth more, so that when you pay 3000G upgrading it, and you get somehing better and want to sell the upgraded one, the upgraded one is worth more than 150G.
Has anyone got any advice for me on how to beat the Colossus (Trial #1)? I can beat all the other Trials, but the 5000 damage per hit and about a million hp has got me hung up...
First off, don't get me wrong; this game really is epic, but; why is it that only Viegraff, Kara, and the Were-Tigers actually show effort? The Mighty Guardians trot toward the front lines at an easy canter. The Succubi lazily flap forward. Has anyone seen an orangutan move? They don't stomp heavily forward; they cover vast distances with great bounds, faster than a human can run. Also agree with previous comments about hero over committal. + if you agree.
It is already implemented - hold down the "+" or "-" button.
