Some other recommendations for the control scheme: A+D or Left+Right arrow keys, Mousewheel, or just the number keys. If you're dead-set on it being mouse only, perhaps a box could pop up with 1-9 in it once you've selected a full group.
Why isn't the down button the one to shoot through the floor? Once the swap mechanic was introduced, I thought up/down would flip, but they don't, so it's just a wasted button.
Is there an explanation anywhere of how Offline Boost works? Is there a way to replenish it? Do I need to turn the game off, because that seems counterintuitive if I just want to keep playing
The achievement "Hunt the Hunters" either has the wrong icon or shows up at the wrong time, the ASAN hacking is done later, that achievement's for the ASN (NSA).
The character moves quite slowly, even after the upgrades. That's fine sometimes, but it's absolutely grueling if you have to do any backtracking. There was one time I got stuck in a room that thought there were enemies but there weren't, and I'm disappointed by the sloppy writing all over the place. Honestly if the game was cranked to double-speed and you had someone give a once-over to all the writing, the game would be a treasure, but as is, it's a bit of a chore.
Hey dev, there's an "it's" in the last text box of the game that should be an "its", without the apostrophe. i.e. instead of "it is", it should be "belonging to it".
Cool game, love how actively you respond to all the feedback.
Some stuff of note that might improve future updates: Autoclimb seems to be acting up for me. I'm pretty sure it's bringing me to the right levels, but it's not updating the floor counter or the "Next floor" total. Also, menus and diamond rocks are stacked in the order that they appear (diamonds can be over menus, but menus can be opened over diamonds) and I feel like they should consistently be one or the other. And one time a diamond was quite close to the bottom of the screen and needed some extra precision to hit, I think there should be a bit more buffer room.
Er, random note: I don't think Kong's badges know what milliseconds (well, technically centiseconds) are. I got ~25.75 on the first level and it gave me the checkmark anyway. Thanks Kong!
Whoo! It's 6 in the morning, and I can't tell if I somehow glitched up the system or managed to genuinely beat the game, but either way I somehow did it all without a walkthrough, so woohoo!
This is so useful, but at the moment it's vastly out of date. "Last sorted by genre" was in 2012 and we're coming up on 2014. Hopefully a revamp is in the works, or maybe even something integrated into the site.
For those experiencing the glitch, it only seemed to happen for me when Bob was in his faster speed. That said, even when I beat it, Kong didn't track my level progress and I didn't get the badge, so more things may be messed up.
HARD BADGE OBTAINED. Finally I'm free of the idle background-grinding and constant moneygrubbing. Nicely-designed game, but really, you're kinda pushing it.
