I really like this, I don't think it deserves its low score at all. It's a game that can trigger some soul-searching. It isn't over-complicated at all- plenty of flash games I enjoy because they're complicated enough to drown out my sadder thoughts, but this helped me to engage with them. 5/5 from me.
Snake Hint (If you want to work it out yourself, don't read)
The snake doesn't do any damage when it's mouth is closed. It alternates between open and closed, and it won't pass with an open mouth where it last passed with a closed mouth.
Are you upgrading your acceleration and stuff? First time I played it I thought the dots meant that they were what was active for the next flight and just bought the glider/rocket. Could be that, GrTrPr?
The game is really fun, you guys have done an awesome job. The flavour of it is very cool. It'd be nice if, when you save it while you're on the ground, it'll load up in the area where you saved it. Keeps disconnecting, and having to re-do areas despite saving it a second ago can be a little annoying! But it is a great game.
