Guys, vision fields are not impossible, they just typically can't be beaten with traditional strategies and require better timing when upgrading gems, using spells etc. I love the challenge that the vision fields add--I know that if I lose, it's not because I need to go back and grind or because the combination of my skills is wrong, I just need to use a different strategy or execute it better. I'd hate it if all the levels were piss-easy or could be beaten just by throwing more XP at them.
Actually the rail gun bloody owns as long as your convoy has a weapon with a higher rate of fire (minigun) for shooting nukes and flying enemies. The rail gun destroys helicopters in two hits and takes out multiple ground vehicles at once instead of just picking off the closest one like most other weapons.
For the Europe challenge: keep your ally alive as long as possible. The best way to do this is to give them the 3x120 reinforcements. This keeps the enemy occupied A LOT while you charge through spain, italy etc and expand as quickly as possible. And remember to try to disrupt as many bonuses for the enemy as possible, even if it means only holding part of a territory and not getting the bonus yourself, otherwise you get armies of 400 coming after you from all directions and it becomes impossible.
With this game: when in doubt, when in trouble ADD MORE ARCHERS AND MAGES! Seriously though, you can get through most levels easily with only 2 or 3 barracks as long as you fully upgrade towers before buying new ones (archers are especially helpful for the lost jungle level with those annoying pink things). I played the whole game without bombards.
I really hate how suddenly you stop after running out of gas. There is a thing called momentum you know, and it would take a lot of zombies to slow down a heavy firetruck.
glitchy. my cursor keeps disappearing each time I click, I have to move it out of the game window for it to reappear. annoying. and the timer keeps resetting itself after a couple of minutes, so five minutes into the game it says 47 seconds for some reason.
I didn't think it was possible, but this game made a zombie cute...just when it hugs that big purple teddy bear...when it offered me chocolate... *sniff* and then that bastard shot it.
Quite bad because there is absolutely no intuitive way to do the game, you just guess which objects go where and win the game by brute force (by trying all possible combinations of objects). How the hell do two rocks make a frog?
