@shadowcougar I've come back to numbers that seemed low before, about half of what it should be, but it's only happened once or twice. But there certainly isn't a cap at flat number; I'm counting in terms of octillions and nonillions at this point.
click/sec cap seems to be well over 50 clicks, closer to something like 70. The upgrades from 48-53 and on had a noticeable effect, and I only stopped seeing an increase at the 82-91 purchase.
Here's a compilation of a few issues I had.
Forging every weapon did not unlock the achievement
Landslide outclasses every offensive spell from the moment you get it. By the end of the second campaign, it did ten times as much damage as other spells.
Landslide could clear every enemy in one turn, and the only time I bothered to use another spell was Rumei to slow the final boss.
The haste and damage buff on Frenzy stack infinitely. Stepping to the back line and spamming frenzy for 30 seconds lets you do 10-12 commands between each boss attack.
Enemies can also infinitely stack charges. My only death was when the final boss spent five turns charging before unleashing Inferno and one-shotting me.
Limit Break is usually not worth a turn in the second playthrough, because other skills do damage and cause debuffs.
Outside of these issues, most of which only effected the second playthough and on, the game is really solid. Consider me a fan.
If you go into survival, put people in your party for free, and remove them, it gives you the discount money. You can use this to get infinite gold pretty easily.
If anyone is having trouble buying the upgrades, they should upgrade treasure hunter and their cargo first, and focus on the treasure hunting missions. Weapon upgrades are not as valuable, except for shooting gallery and the primary weapon.
I think spells might be broken a bit. My level 13 elf arcane archer has a list of over 15 spells and 70 intelligence, and yet the only spell he uses is Lighting (VII), which hits for all of 10 damage. I know that other spells are more effective, such as how my halfling archer had a very powerful poison spell before ascending...
At about wave 36 in survival mode, the waves start disappearing. Normally, this is just visual, and they will flash on and off until most of them die, but I have had problems with groups of enemies either disappearing or freezing and the round never ending. There is still the sound for the guns shooting, but no animation. Other than that, this is a great game.
Also, infecting an enemy still makes it give more or less experience than it should. This problem persists from the first game, although it seems it is not as pronounced as it was.
Will it ever be fixed, or have you done all you can?
Good, but gets a bit too easy. In the hydra level, for example, you can win with just one archmage. Try to make most of the story levels a bit more difficult.
Also, adding some kind of 'Very Hard' sidequest would be super.
Pressing resume restarts the game, and when you finish the third island you get a broken 'You Win' screen. Also, the main map timer seems to be a bit messed up (I spent 4 minutes in a level, and the clock went from 12 hours to 2 hours left)
I liked the game a lot, and the scaling was great, but there is a bit of a targeting problem at times. Do you think you could add a system where turrets could target a specific monster if you have that monster highlighted by clicking on them?
Tutorial didn't force me to look at how to upgrade units, and I couldn't figure out how to do it until about 3 months in. Also, I don't want to get rid of my 4 lvl 30s...
