Possible bug re the enchanting and quest systems - if I move an un-enchanted item into the store, when the stack is sold it happens to the whole stack, I get no money, and the quest marker goes up despite the item being un-enchanted (ie make 56 Kunzite gloves of fire - put a stack of 10 Kunzite gloves in the store and they make the counter go from 0/56 to 10/56)
Which genius thought that Ctrl and W were good keys to put in a browser game? If I close my browser one more time, I'll probably cry or punch my PC... Better use the alternate key for boost.
Great game. What it lacks in replayability (and difficulty) it makes up in great backing music, an interesting plot, and sentimentality. The sort of game I would pass on to my thinking friends.
Good stuff. I found the red arrows hard to see from time to time. Maybe in the sequel you could make them less transparent? Also, some of the objects were hidden a little too well - the egg could have been put in a nest in some tree branches, the mushroom could have been visible. 4/5.
Correction for some of the Tutorial. Words in square brackets are the problem words. (Decremented is a programing term, not a gaming term, so I've suggested a replacement phrase for it.) If you plan on doing an update again, you may like to update this. Good game so far, otherwise (though I am still in the Tutorial!)
When an enemy unit escapes and reaches the final destination, this defensive counter will be [decreased by one]. You [lose] when [the] counter reaches zero, and you win if the counter holds when [the] last enemy [is] terminated.
Try to get the maximum score and rewards by not letting any enemy unit [escape].
Good game, but the 'cost' aspect drops the overall score from a 5 star to 2. I won't be back in five minutes to continue, and I won't be spending the coins to make that 0.
Dropped from 4 to 3 stars because of the iritating flaws in the colision handling system. Seriously, why don't the other cars move when I hit them? I'm not as light and bouncy ping-pong ball, because I can make zombies explode...
A couple of points that I need to bring up from playing the first 2 levels.
-No tower upgrades.
-No tower sell option
-Can not cancel build after selecting a building. (i.e. I clicked on a building, then could not cancel it before I placed it anywhere)
-Damage per $ spent may need to be looked at - the $750 (laser of some sort?) seems to be weak compared to the $500 tower (sniper tower?)
-No life system in place (How many more critters can I loose to the end of the map before I loose the game? I tested this when the bug below came up. I got bored at round 6/16 and gave up. That's a lot of lives to loose...)
Bug found: In the third level, for some reason, I was unable to place any towers down. The 'go' button worked fine, though.
I realy like the graphics. The music is kinda cool, too. Perhaps have multiple tracks for people to listen to?
Good game for an early Beta. Hope the completed work is better for all of Kongregate's feedback!
