is anyone else getting heavy lag starting on level two? everything else is fine, but the framerate is so low it's very difficult to play. I really really want to play this game, but I caant ;_;
Yaaay got the hard badge :D This game was really enjoyable, I noticed a big curve in which it is difficult at the beginning, but gets REALLY easy about 40 percent of the way through. The last 14 or so cities I had to conquer, I swept through and didn't even have to take breaks to get more money or troops. Despite annoying glitches and stuff, this game was pretty fun to play.
One of the things I like about this game is that it is challenging, but not badly made or exasperating. Whenever I die, it's totally my fault, and the blame is not on bad controls or constant glitches or something. It's a well made game and it's annoying as hell, but the 'annoying' is manifested through pure challenging gameplay, and not over something frustrating like bad level design or sticky keys or unfairness (e.x., imagine meat boy with limited lives).
if you scroll up or down, you still have control over the road even when your cursor isn't in the game area. the result is hills so steep, when you scroll up, you see the beauty of ten cars falling haphazardly to the ground after suffering a 90 degree angle drop.
This game is bloody brilliant. I've never seen a game that puts such a clever twist on minesweeper, adding deductive reasoning to the mix, and it's all so well meshed together.
almost 10 of these reactions rely on 'paint' to complete it, when a different element might make MUCH more sense. For example, bird + snow = penguin makes a LOT more sense than bird + paint = penguin.
I cannot tell a lie.
The music that played in the building?
Scared the SHIT out of me. Hands down one of the scariest songs I have ever heard, scarier than the song of unhealing.
It's just so subtle and perfect and strange.
Shiiiiit.
the only thing I don't like is that the game tends to randomly run slow and mess up your jumping. other than that, it's really original and makes you think.
