I appreciate the slow introduction of mechanics so it doesn't get overwhelming to quickly. I do think a color other than magenta should be used for the linked tiles though, as it can be hard to see since the tiles are a similar color.
It's really hard to figure out when the guns are going to shoot, maybe make some sort of animation on the gun itself so I don't have to guess whether it's going to shoot three times in a row quickly or wait for three seconds to shoot. The level where you have to bounce blindly towards shots that seem to come randomly is very annoying too. If they're not random have the timer that runs when all the shots are fired restart on player death so it's a little more predictable. Also I'm not sure whether this is a feature or not, but if you walk off a ledge or onto a bounce pad, you can still jump once in midair.
You gotta let us be able to sell units, it's pretty terrible that I can't use low cost units at the beginning of the level because I'm afraid I'll be forced to kill them just to get better ones.
I love how many different variations on the same concept there are. However there are many times in levels where you don't get direct control over the blue ball that impossible situations can happen, such as the blue hitting an intersection between a red and a blue or getting your red trapped in the small corner of two blues that you can't speed up the hits on.
Hello, there!!! Thanks for playing my game! Change the speed? I liked the idea! But don`t you think it is harder enough??
Oh, I have other game! If you could test it, it you help me a lot! :D
I feel like the bonus level kind of throws all the fun puzzle stuff out for brutal timing challenges. Also since the lasers overlap and the cycles are so quick it's annoying to figure out which one is shooting.
Love the game! I feel like the platforms you move by singing should go along with the beat though, it felt weird being out of sync with the level music.
I liked it when the items were placed such that they lined up with their environment, but unfortunately there were too many cases where things were hidden by just lowering the opacity and putting it behind a lens flare/making it extremely small. The ghosts were the main culprit of this, and I think the game would be better if they were removed entirely. It would also be nice if when the story specifically mentions to look for something, you look for that instead of the same group of unrelated objects. Finding an object but not being able to click on it yet because it hasn't shown up on the list yet is also annoying. Also for some reason the credits call the game The Magic Storm, not sure why the inconsistency there.
Definitely an interesting concept for a game, but there are a few issues as well. Slowing down when jumping makes the game feel slow, and also makes it harder to judge whether or not you can cross a gap. The checkpoints are in odd places as well; many times I had to back out of a level entirely because a checkpoint had trapped me in a position where I couldn't do anything. Not sure why there's parallax on the background if the camera is stationary. And this isn't major, but if you die by getting out of a totem into a spike ceiling, your dead body clips through the ground to the empty space above.
Excellent game! That last level took me quite a while to beat. Love that the respawn times are so quick to keep the pace up, though I did kill myself quite a few times running the wrong way after a respawn. The only issue I found was that you could sometimes do a jump off a balloon without breaking it, and could sometimes jump of a corner where two spikes met.
Small bug I found; when orbiting the planet the camera would occasionally get stuck. It eventually fixed itself in every case, so not too big an issue.
An excellent game! Some of the later levels rely more on figuring out what all the mystery blocks are and where the goal is rather than thinking it out beforehand.
Nice game, but it gets to the point that the two seconds of lag right before you die makes in unplayable, since you can't save yourself at the last second.
The real problem I have with this game is that whenever you die, all the guns, bats, electric floors, and fire jets get their timings reset, but none of the sawblades or axes do, making whether or not the room even has a possible configuration almost entirely luck.
Really only matters on 29/30, and maybe on some of the higher 30s levels. But I do hear you and do understand this sentiment. Unfortunately, at this point, we aren't going to be making any changes to gameplay. Maybe for Give Up 3!
