Spells need to be on hotkeys, and the buttons don't seem responsive some times. Time spent fiddling with those buttons is time spent not-firing which ends up making it harder, but it seems to be impossible to progress without using the spells anyways.
Once you lose once or twice, the money loss sets your progress back enough that you start losing a lot more on later levels (and thus, lose even more money...) So if you fail too many times in a row, it gets nearly impossible to advance further
Do game developers think they're making an awesome game by giving it a ridiculous final boss?
Oh, and the upgrades are seriously overpriced if there's no way to get more than 300k per level.
Whenever I press the hint button, it brings up the Human and Evil categories, but nothing I try combines into something new... Is there a bug somewhere or am I just missing something? Chaos, Inferno, Darkness, Disease, Suffering, and Sect don't combine with anything. Death combines with Corpse to make Zombie, but nothing else. Sin + Sex = Lust, Sin + Food = Gluttony, Sin + Corpse = Murder, but nothing else. Magic + Human/Man = Worm, Magic + Woman = Witch, but nothing else.
Are these all of the possible combination for these two categories? I can't find everything else, I've tried every combination but the hint button keeps bringing me back here, it's kind of pissing me off.
I can't believe I sat here long enough to try to get all of the achievements only to have #40 (and the very last one) bug up on me and make it impossible.
My only problem is that when I try to get a high multiplier by trying to pass through the green flags during a jump, sometimes the skiier shoots up into the air way more than I intended to... I usually hit the one I was trying to hit, but then pass over the next 2-3 (Which is sometimes good, but not when you re-enter the screen just as one shows up; which counts as a 'miss' and cuts my multiplier in half)
Nice game, but it seems like it was finished in a hurry because there are a few typos and other errors. For example, when you destroy a town it says you get $5000 instead of 5000 souls. And some of the text on the unit stats in the lab wraps (Why is it a lab anyways? Shouldn't it be a grimoire or necronomicon or something?), and apparently the reward for doing 8 time achievements is only 8 souls.
The 26th level was kind of underwhelming considering how hard the 25th level was. But I guess that's because the enemies gave so much XP that I could ride off free health refills for level ups the entire time.
Not only could Gigant kill most of my units in one shot (Except for upgraded versions of the lowest tier units, go figure), but he hits almost every unit at once...
Also, my hand really started to hurt after awhile. Really needs hotkeys or an autofire.
The controls are really finicky... Which I realize is the point of being drunk, but it doesn't make for a fun game when you're stuck at the bottom of a flight of stairs and any attempt to climb out makes you fall unconscious and tumble back down.
Level 14 is impossible to get Excellent on unless you get really lucky. Even with the max mana pool, max damage meteor and the lowest cost for meteor, you can only do 2000 damage spamming that spell while the Ninja boss has 2400 HP. You need to get fully upgraded Crypt towers with Ice Mastery and Mind Control talents maxed, then either A. Hope he gets frozen and can't turn invisible, or B. Hope he gets hit with Fear and runs in circles until his invisibility wears off.
I wish you could zoom out a bit, or at least have arrows telling you where enemy tanks are. I don't like it that bullets are flying at me from offscreen but I can't tell where they are.
Twice now, infected the entire world, but not a single person died. No matter how many symptoms I bought, not a single person dies! What the heck am I doing wrong? I feel like my incredible fortune of actually having gotten Madagascar infected has been completely wasted. Twice.
