Work rate is how hard they work. People with low work rate will sometimes sit there and do nothing. And the fixed search made the game much better. Quick eyed talent does work.
Just no DragonofLife. You can get both ally upgrades by day 10 if you play as a rogue or have tons of badges. Most of the available weapons are useful except the early big guns and the long bow.
DragonSteps, when you click on new game and hover over hardcore, it says it deletes your save game.
hotflungwok, you should have a strong guy that can deal with armor units. having high aiming and setting everyone to fire at will helps too.
BladesFlames, you get a badge and get tons of exp for killing them. If you're a rogue, you get pretty good money for killing them too.
No it doesn't DragonSteps.
For those who don't want to lose their save, the game does keep a save file on your computer. I forgot what it was though. Otherwise, if you don't want to lose your game open and start elona shooter in two tabs or whatever. If you lose one the other one will still have your game when you save. Chickens have an extremely slow return rate for the first 40 days or so and aren't a good source of income unless you save scum.
Lz_erk, I once mistakenly switched out my gun with a mod thinking I should do it later. I went into a boss day without a gun and on hc. Thinking i would need to spam my repair hammer and cup, I got a perfect day without using either. This is mostly due to my duelist doing godly damage and my 180 bonus damage from the villa.
smoo, There's clearly a 2 there. It's your fault if you're blind.
thehunter007, You only need an anti armor weapon for day 11+. You are right about ignoring chickens and little sisters though.
I think only the one shot skill works with pistols. Burst probably doesn't work. day 11 is the only real jump in difficulty and that's only because it's hard to do if you don't have a good anti armor weapon.
Focus increases the chance of a skill showing up, but if your char normally has a low chance of learning the skill it can take a while. That and whatever lady luck feels about you. Also the easiest gun to use is the laser pistol.
I almost never get hurt. My noble grav gun user is actually lower level them my rogue and duelist since everything is dead before the grav bullet even reaches the enemy. My duelist is actually level 120 while my noble is level 102.
party skills like defender and threat can help. otherwise, just hope your team is fast enough at aiming and killing to kill them before they reach you.
low acc guns are harder to use for low level chars but get much more useful if you have high accuracy skill. stop using the rag sword if you don't want to meet dragons so early. leech mod isn't that useful anyways.
On day 150 my rogue has made me 583k gold. Rogues are probably the strongest class as they make tons of money and are the only class that can get threat. My current laser pistol does 441 base damage and with 180 damage bonus from the villa I'm doing 1k+ damage. My teams is so strong most bosses die in seconds even with their shields up and I've gotten perfect days for the last 60 straight days or so.
Don't listen to reaper. It's bad advice. If you're having problems, start with the rogue. The rogue makes the most money and has the easiest time buying shop upgrades and houses which you will need in the early stages. In late game the rogue makes tons of money making it easy to buy the +damage upgrades. You will need an anti armor weapon like the laser pistol by day 11 and a grav gun by day 20. Ignore claim titles until you get your laser pistol. Get a noble as your first ally and have her learn big guns. Give her a big weapon to help her train. Learn active after big guns. Try to have two weapons so you don't get caught with your pants down while reloading.
Grav gun will kill everything except for armor units anyway so damage mods are wasted. Put anti armor and leech mods on it. It will still kill everything it hits while leaving your damage mods for other chars.
