"What did he ask?"
"Mr. Jones just asked his opponent to back up HIS OWN conclusion"
*sigh* "AGAIN!?"
"Afraid so." *smirks and plays with his mustache*
I laughed for a good 5 minutes with tears in my eyes.
I played a the Company of Myself countless times and showed it to many friends because of how unique and pyschologically mindblowing and saddening it is. Now that this game finally game out, I found myself incredbily psyched. It is definitely longer and a lot more difficult than tCoM, but the talks with Henry and Jack really made me think. There I am on the last level, anticipating her death, shaking! knowing what is about to happen. After that moment, Jack's reaction just killed me. REALLY dude? You were too stoned to remember!? Here I am feeling all sorry for you in tCoM, and it turned out that all your troubles were cuz you were too doped up on those pills. Wow.
OH NO! I'm trapped! I would escape but theres too much fragile glass in the way and I forgot the number for 911! welp, might as well call all of these other numbers instead, tamper with city utilities and play strange video games! that'll get me out for sure!
Dude, you're a skinless, boneless, bloodied, maimed, torched, frozen, quadriplegic, bullet-ridden, traumatized, brutalized, electrified, skull crushed, beaten, bruised and utterly annihilated blueberry alien man. Get over your fear of ducks.
It's a spin off of Orpheus in Greek mythology, look it up on wikipedia if ya want a better understanding. Although it does have a slight psychological theme to it, it really isn't all that dramatic. Doesn't even compare to the psychological extremes that The Company of Myself reached in it's complete utter isolation and sadness. That said, the horrible gameplay and crummy graphics alone turn away many players right at the get-go. That, and it gets annoying quick. They most prolly don't even understand any of the meaning behind it, nor would they care. That's why the rating is so low. 3/5
