I really enjoyed the second game (I haven't played the first) and this one is a marked improvement over the second game. I really appreciated the improvements to the controls, though I found using page up/page down to scroll a bit awkward. It would feel much more intuitive to use the mousewheel instead.
The dialogue flows better, though having a native English speaker act as your editor/proofreader would help quite a bit. It seemed like the two siblings were intended to have a flat, monotonous cadence to their speech which is difficult to pick out from other dialogue if you're not paying close attention.
It feel like the evidence was more solid, and the clues were easier to follow than in the previous game - in a good way. I didn't feel like Dregg knew things I didn't quite as much as I did in the second game. This makes it feel like I have a lot more control over how well I do.
All-in-all, it's a solid improvement over the previous game and I look forward to the next one!
This is the most fun I've had playing any of the puzzle games here. I love how many resources you have to depend upon in order to solve all of the puzzles. I'd be more specific, but anyone who's finished the game knows what I mean. Now on to deciphering those runes...
Thank you. As for the mouse scroll, the game does have that, but the html5 output removes that function. I am still working on fixing it.
