Awesome game! I was just wondering; when you reset the world, do your daily quests remain? Also, does the world reset as soon as you buy the upgrade? The clickable upgrade is driving my impatience crazy, but I'm not ready to actually reset yet - perhaps the soft reset portion of the guidebook could describe how it works when you buy it, not just the actual reset effect?

Thank you for the feedback! The daily quests remain, so if you have one for collecting Gold, best to do those before you reset. You can click on the reset upgrade and it will pop up a dialog with what it does. You can cancel out of it if you're not ready, and want to get more Idols. Once you do choose to confirm, the world is reset and you'll see your rewards and then get to choose your next objective.
