I'm in agreement with everyone about the sliding puzzle game. It's like a rubics cube. Some people (myself included) just wont' be able to do it because we haven't dedicated years of our lives to it. Puzzles should be based on intellect, not skill.
[BUG] Not sure if it matters in any way, but I just got the prophecy quest to get the Burned Out Seal... despite having the Burning Seal. Clearly I'm never going to be able to complete this quest without destroying my artifact, assuming I can get another.
So glad I rediscovered this game after playing the first Idle Raiders. My one suggestion so far is, and I know this is probably lower on the priority list, more base customization. Maybe being able to purchase larger plots of land, finding plans for more complex structures or themes (a pyramid, sphynx and sand tiles via the Pharoah dungeon for example), and some aesthetic objects like more river, bridges, walls, trees, etc. I know that's not the purpose of the game, but making my base look cool is a great part of the experience that I'm really enjoying :)
Almost a really good game, but it's the little things that hold it back. Most of my deaths have been from not being able to see where monsters are because of big, useless text, and the general speed of the game is pretty slow IMO
Got a glitch on the level "Spring City". The spring wouldn't send me all the way up to the next level so I kept moving between the two until I ended up in the bottom of "Spring City" where the text was, unable to move forward.
***SPOILERS***
Are there multiple endings, depending on if you make the girl jump over to the guy or what you do while falling through all that chaos afterwards? It feels like I got a bad end of sorts, but maybe that's the point XD
I'm experiencing a bug that started with this update. I'm on the Dual Descent quest. I'm using The Princess and The Washed Up Hermit. Every time I leave and come back, only The Princess is on the field and the Hermit has been removed. This only started with this new patch. Anyone else experiencing problems like this?
Thank you for the report. It's on our fix list. For now, you can leave the game open, or abandon/reset onto another objective until we can get our fix in. Sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime.
I actually find the combat to be a decent pace, but I agree that adding depth to the fights, like resistances and weaknesses to different spells, would be nice.
Just to clarify, when an enchantment says it will increase the chance of X by, say, 10%, does that means the new chance will be X + 10% or X + (X/10)%? Sorry to get mathy here.
I'm also having trouble with the speed runs. I think the problem is that my computer isn't fast enough (even under the best conditions) to get the full 700% speed buff. The developers probably have fantastic computers that can process that, but for a bunch of us... we just cannot complete that mission, even WITH picking up things ASAP and moving through as fast as possible.
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the objective. Thank you for the feedback. I will bring it up with the designers. However, you don't need to finish it to complete the event. You could spend your Candy Canes on doing as many Free Play resets as you can.
Wish I could play it, but it keeps glitching out. I hit "New Game" and it goes right to the play screen with the mouse and everything but there are no enemies, no ability to pause, no instructions... Nothing.
Are we still able to get gear for holiday characters (Pete, Monkey, Jack, Wendy), after the event has passed? As great as these characters can be, if we only have a small shot at getting them all geared up and next to no chance to give them enough enchantment points to compete with the other crusaders eventually they'll be useless...
Hi Moranidal, No, you won't be able to get their gear. The designers haven't discussed how we would repeat their gear. We do have plans for the Idol shop to allow you to share a percentage of the enchantment points of all Crusaders on that bench seat.
Is it just me, or does the Speedy Show achievement seem... impossible? Even WITH speed buffs the whole way, I only make it to Nate level 50 after 45 minutes. I'm instant killing things the whole time, it's just that it takes enough time to plow through all of them that I need 55 minutes minimum to make it... Anyone else feeling this?
I really would like some way to customize the base. Maybe adding in furniture of different kinds could give temporary buffs to the raiders when they stay at the base?
