I have a question, what if your fork is made of bread and not metal? Would it not be logical to put your fork (which is bread) in the toaster? What if my toast is not as dark as I want it? And what if I'm insane and want toasted applesauce?
It's impossible not to die, he takes up like four lanes of fire at once. Firing the primary weapon makes him move around for some unknown reason. The click to fire and double click for secondary is annoying, I literally have to space out my clicks whenever I want to repeatedly fire at the enemies that, at the minimum, fire three shots a second. Also, the levels are repetitive and boring.
I want to see you make games, Zarif, or at least show a little bit of impartiality rather than post "this is the best" comments on all of your bestbuddy's "games".
It would be best if you made your own game instead of uploading the stencyl kit in its original condition. What are you testing by uploading a game you didn't make onto kongregate? How long it takes for the kongregate users to figure out a game is crap or the fact that you didn't make the game?
@boredpoo If he was the opposite of you, then he actually collected the gems and fell to his doom (since you can't fall to your doom). So the gems are there so that falling down there would kill you both, not so that we could kill him.
If that's your belief, then you should never upload to kongregate. If you don't have the discipline or the patience to make your games good (even with the easy to use software named stencyl), then you will be doomed to making crappy games. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Godofpi, this is the physics game kit from stencyl, although the blocks don't seem to be affected by gravity. Personally, I'm disappointed that you posted a kit as a game, and that it is of less quality than the original kit you began with.
Landlord: I would like to purchase these three homes. Real Estate Agent: No! You can only buy all the homes that have the same roof color, until next month when you repeat with a different color! Landlord: That doesn't make sense! Real Estate Agent: Are you gonna buy it or not? I've got a computer here that's also looking at this roof color.
8 It would really be nice if you had a block that moving blocks and enemies collided with but not the player, so that we can control the behavior of moving things more precisely. It's a really nice concept though, and I would very much like to see you make the game more worthy of the great concept behind it.
1 You'll need to prevent the sinking of side-to-side blocks and side-to-side enemies, try making it always set the y-speed to 0. 2 I would make the player move along with the moving blocks (either with a behavior or an increased friction for the moving blocks). 3 Up-and-down enemies should as well have their x-speed neutralized and they should stop and turn around before leaving the screen (perhaps if x > a certain number they should begin going up again). 4 I can not summon up-and-down blocks. 5 A white cursor would do better than the black one, which tends to get lost against the blocks and the dark background. 6 I would like to be able to delete with the cursor instead of the mouse (it's a bit more convenient). 7 a button command to return to the editor would be nice, in case the player gets stuck.
Well Greg does have the power (or influence?) to do that, but its best to send the email to feedback@kongregate.com, as Greg does have more important duties and is often swamped by shouts and replies. Also, you should care about what other kongregate users care about when the subject is your game, which from the looks of it they would prefer that the "game" be removed.
well then i must be different, cause i dont care.why bother stick time into some game that wil take ages to then get maybe few thouzand plays, will not manage to get into monthly top 5 anywys, takes way to much work and without spending anything your not getting far....
I don't believe that Greg is in charge of removing the games. I think to remove games you have to send your removal request (via email) to feedback@kongregate.com
incorrect. already saw a shout left at greg asking for game removal and he did.. guess he didn't see mine, as i already said though, i dont really care much anymore
Well I headed out without any supplies whatsoever, I made 160 it miles and survived 251 days. I killed 5 for food, then he came back to life (we were still eating him though, so he spent a few days eating himself), then killed 5 again for food, killed 4 for food, 3 died of cholera then came back from the dead 2 months later, then was killed by cholera, then came back from the dead 2 weeks later, then died the next day from cholera, 2 died from a buffalo stampede on day 230, 1 caught chlamydia and syphilis around day 240, 1 died of syphilis on day 251 (If your wondering, yes I did name all my people numbers, it helped me keep track of how many were left). Perhaps we should have brought a doctor rather than a banker, maybe then we wouldn't have had to force 5 to eat himself or maybe 3 wouldn't have been buried alive twice.
Sorry about some of the harsh things I said, I thought you were an arrogant egomaniac. You should really state your responses differently, =/= is a neutral statement (it can be an insult to the other person or to yourself), neutral statements are mainly used when someone thinks they are better and are almost always assumed to be a "I'm better" statement, saying that you weren't as good would have worked better.
Thank you for the compliment THELURKERMAN, my game making skills are =/= to your game making skills, because my game making skills are > your game making skills. In my first game, I made every behavior from scratch, I had walking, jumping, die when falls off screen, reload when dies, health, floating enemies that chase you, spikes, force fields, lasers, a timer that displayed time in minute:second.millisecond format, a scoring system, signs that switch scenes when you run into them, auto-jumping, a main menu, in game instructions, switch scene when in region, a behavior that removed 5 seconds from your time when you jumped on an enemy, 8-way movement, background music, and much more. You had a walking behavior and a switch scene when in region behavior, and that took HOURS for you. My earlier statement about replicating it in about 2 minutes was not an exaggeration. Go email Kongregate and tell them to remove this crap!
Quest Giver: Before we give you this quest, we want to ask a few questions. Would that be okay?
You: Yes.
Quest Giver: Okay, where do you see yourself in five years?
You: Sitting in that throne over there with a golden crown and a merciless army slaughtering all who oppose me.
Quest Giver: This just got awkward...
TL;DR
