Hilariously, you can kill all the civilians and still go on to the next mission. "Mission Clear [...] Mission Failed." Reminds me of Metal Gear Solid (fission mailed) but without the judgment.
Having a "peer" look through these scripts for typos couldn't hurt too much (especially considering how much exposure your games get). I stopped counting somewhere after two dozen or so errors.
Would rate higher were it like survival horror and all peaceful mining with none to one enemy per level.
P.S. Please make no enemies patch for all badges, thanks.
To beat levels in more meditative fashion: Mine NOTHING in mining/combat combo levels to stop all enemy waves. Enemy waves are tied to your completion percentage. Key "hidden" mechanic that really oughtn't be hidden.
If the game seems too tough and you not enough, remember you can replay (grind) easier levels for additional coins. Also, avatar awards are uncannily addictive, especially if you've only recently "misplaced" your classic avvie. Wish more games had them.
The shady fellow by the tavern eventually (in my case, after I beat the fat spider and was all but done with Grindy Cave) eventually sells a regeneration ring, if anyone else was wondering what people in the comments were on about re: MP regen.
For extra fun, fan, try clicking and shooting as much as excessively possible in each level. More enjoyable to know you're getting some of the worst scores available!
The Easy badge description is misleading. You have to not only "unlock" any bell, but then equip it and complete a level with it equipped. I proceeded to ring said bell about a thousand times while racing for good measure...Not sure if that last helped.
(Woe be) To any future players going for the Medium Badge: The wave counter on the badge is way off. Mine jumped from "9 left" to "2 left" to "5 left" back to 9 again before the badge would unlock. Rest assured it does seem to be counting your total number of waves completed, not in a row.
