Anyone else getting a weird glitch where selecting a ranged attack or attack slot other than the first slot results in no damage or action taken, but still burns an action?
Game with great basics and foundation, but some things could be added to make it even better. Using mana pearls to buy stuff or upgrade would be a cool feature rather than just a number to make bigger. The only thing that bothered me about the combat is when you entangle some bosses or enemies to try and escape they just constantly charge you and there is nothing you can do to escape unless you can get to the hole quickly. Other than that a solid 4/5.
Dude seriously, sync the music with the notes, Xmas Megamax was a nightmare because I'm following the rhythm of the music which is for some reason faster than the some of the notes you have. Lag issues or whatever, it's hard to be a rhythm music game when its easier to play with the sound off.
It was an average platformer, nothing amazing, nothing bad. It had no where near the epic feel of SoC. In Shadow of the Colossus you had the colossi actively trying to kill you and moving, shaking, struggling to get you off and under their sword/hoof/etc. Granted doing something like that would be hard in a flash game. Yet this was like running around a statue with some random insta-kill traps and shaking camera to make it have some challenge.
Something that may have helped would be making the golems smaller. With such a small view of the creature it again feels more like a platformer in some random landscape, rather than the epic fight I assume you were going for.
A nice attempt, but with the reference to Shadow its hard not to compare, even taking in account the limit of the media and the number of people producing it. It doesn't come off favorably.
Anyone else find level 17 MUCH harder than 18? Freaking tried 17 over and over but beat 18 in one go. I'm kinda torn, on one hand its fun, but I hate some of the luck, but sometimes the "Oh hell the VIP is on the other side of the level through 8 guards. WOOO GOT HIM! Oh hell the exit is on the other side of the map through 8 angry guards. Hells yeah, clean get away."
Auto focus target fails so hard core, if two enemies charge towards you you auto turn and face the one that just went past you and is no longer a threat leaving your back open to the second one. 4 mounted spear men at once for the loss.
