the game is good, but it is really unfair and punishing. the randomly generated worlds are more about luck to get as many low level opponents to be at your level or lower so you can actually complete the game. for now, its a 3/5 for me.
Thanks for the feedback.
Thought it's not that randomly generated, we have ensured that you have enough enemies for any level to beat. Most of the time it means that you can't clear one zone completely without travelling to other ones.
please add a re-spec option. i had to redo a save just so that i can choose the correct options, as i wanted a stealthy guy with 2 ranged ones and using 2 handed weapons... it was bad for me. also, i suggest either making the re-spec really cheap to do or free, as money is quite hard to choose what to do with in this game.
+mechanicalshadow the enemy(ies) attack(s) are too strong, so they break the shield. this just happens when they go for a really strong attack, or you are just weak or have a weak shield. their attack, however, would be doing way less damage because the shield deducted a lot of it.
this is honestly a really bad game. it is impossible to get something like 10 unless you are a lucky person, and the controls are bad. why not use wasd or the arrow keys? this is literally a flappy bird copy with a really bad story and controls, and graphics.
this game is so great. we get to see 2 tanks fight then leftovers gather to make the word "nitrome", then the game wont open. 10/10 would appreciate if it works again.
the last level is hard, but here is the tutorial for it: start with the reinforcements, potatos, attack boost and extra gold abilities. build 2 potato farms, increase them later if wanted. a servant area, 2 tax men, about 2 warrior and 1 archer places. put your units inside/ in front of the castle door. after you have completed about 12 waves, start replacing your tax collectors slowly with mages/wizards, and have at least one of the circus guys. keep it up. when you are at the boss stage, throw potatos at him whenever possible until he is at about 2/3 of his HP, then start using them for defense. you should be using the attack boost against the boss when he lands in a possible location for your units' attacks, as you continue to beat him 'till death.
also, when will a sequel come out?
i cant finish the game. i have a flashlight loaded up with batteries and tape. i have checked everywhere, i have all but 1 or 2 pieces left to find for the picture, and the only thing i think i need to do is with the clock. still havent done it.
i defeated a boss more than 20 levels higher than me. no potions, and no spells. pretty strategic with the talents, skills, stats, and whatever else, eh?
