I thought this was pretty, but when I found that I have no input into combat I had to pass. If I want to sit and watch people fighting, there's better movies
Yep, we know that balancing will require further work for sure. Actually easy it meant to be very easy, the ideal gaming level at the moment is intermediate. Several testers managed to get through that level (will pseudorandom waves should be slightly more difficult but still doable), if not on the first attempt, at least on the second. Some of the unbalancing comes out from the test temporary enemy units being used now I think. We are trying to balancing on each feedback we receive, I will make the first waves a bit easier and see if that allows a more gradual curve. Thanks for the feedback!
I also found the scouting time annoying, adding little to the game except to slow it down. If you are determined to make the player wait, you should replace the scouts message with 'Stop! Scouting time', which would make it a little easier to put up with
Hi Phil, I can't check it right now from the mobile, but the version online should be the one without any scouting time isn't it? Did you play it today or did you play the first version the first day we got it online?
Game worked, but was lacking in stratgey. For most maps there was only one way to send my troops. Could have done with some more information on troops, no idea on the relative strengths of my units.
I didn't see any of the bugs until around lv 15, and then it all went a bit wrong. Same bugs are reported in other comments. Refresh helped a bit. Also thouht it was a cheesy that my throwing stars have unlimited range, until the archers started doing the same. Biggest issue was that my little ninja was very unresponsive and would run in random directions, refuse to switch weapons, stop running suddenly. Maybe he has a death wish and I did him a disservice by completing the game.
Tried this a few times, can get 5 wll peices, but can't find a way to get the last one. Seems unfair that the invaders can move all their troops every time and it takes me three turns to move one dude up to the wall. I have a feeling this is only possible if you make all the moves in exactly the right order.
Quite good, but I ran into the same problem with the spells changing effects. My teleport tried to cast charm for example. Playing as a wizard seemed to encourage running backwards and forward repeatedly to recharge spells. Maybe add a rest command?
I battled the evil monsters on level one. I guess my defence was so solid that they never bothered showing up after that. Graphics and gameplay aside, the game needs to at least work.
:)
