I usually enjoy launch games a lot. Not this one though. In the end it depends way too much on your luck and not enough on skills or upgrade decisions. I have no idea why this one got almost 4/5 stars, let alone a BOTD.
The music is really nice in this one. Relaxing without being depressing our boring.
Enjoyed the concept of this game (as some others on here I was reminded of the good old "games" we did in ms paint) and played it through quickly - really different to a lot of stuff on here, but in a positive way.
Only the effects of the sqaures "floating" around when changing the color were a downside to me. It was fine for a short time but it started hurting my eyes in the end.
Otherwise: nice job!
Thanks for making this game and showing that games about war aren't all senseless shooters but can make you think -not only about puzzles but about war- as well. Thank you. Honestly.
@JiffyJuff: That makes it even worse in my eyes. But of course I get that most people will see it simply as "fun" and not take this seriously. That's okay as well. Just as okay as me being not alright with the topic of the game.
But if it helps, the developers are allowed to see me as a whiny bitch. :)
Well, I'm not one of those easily offended women and actually I do enjoy a bit of violence in videogames - as long as it is against the "bad guys".
But as someone who was beaten up for years simply for being a geek I can find no joy in beating a geek-game-figure just for... weel, being a geek.
Besides that, compared to other start/upgrade-games, I found this one rather displeasing in game mechanics. But then I have only started 3 or 4 times, so maybe it get's better in further levels. Though the theme probably doesnt.
