Not feeling this like I was the other game. The whole story with the animal shapeshifting just feels weird. The dates increase $$$ as the relationship levels up, which I'm not a fan of. Also in the original game, you could buy 5 time blocks with 40 hearts, which is not the case here. No point in trying to earn/purchase extra hearts, just buy time blocks as soon as you hit ten (10).
Having studied Psychology (specifically Mental Health Counseling) and Social Work, this is a beautiful representation of how to be a support to someone in crisis. First, it encourages you to be Present. Then you learn which responses demonstrate Empathy and Connection (rather than sympathy, which can feel like pity, or Authority, which causes disconnect). After that, you can either leave off or Follow Up. It's a great model for counseling, but it's also a great crash course for anyone worried about someone around them.
The artwork and music are lovely, too. All in all, very well constructed.
Once you get all the achievements MAKE SURE THAT YOU GO TO THE ROOF AND CLIMB! Launching from the bottom floor when there's water all in the building makes you launch higher. You get a weird congratz message and the credits.
Glitch on level 8, Cat got stuck on one of the rollers above the score baskets and is now sliding back and forth as if if he were one of them (I flipped him up there with the flipper control power)
This game is really frustrating, sometimes the website seems to forget that the arrow controls are for the game. It ends up using them to make the whole page move up and down, meanwhile the fox is being slammed in combat.
