This game doesn't work because its control detects the arrow keys, but there's no arrow keys on my phone, so I can't get it to work. Take this game off the mobile website, it cannot be played. :(
While the music isn't the best, I actually stayed calm during it. I don't know whether it helped me or not. On the gameplay itself, it's a bit easy, which is okay, because that's the joy of it, just progressing and seeing new things. The main thing which sets this game apart is the interface. It is absolutely wonderful. Everything is nice and simplistic, and it really has a nice clean and organised look, and it oddly accompanies the music. Great game, some Kong API would work nicely too. :D 5/5
For those who are Unity developers, you'd know exactly where this game comes from. If you're not, it comes from a 2D gameplay tutorial on the Unity website (link at the end of the comment). The only difference I see is that there is another platform up the top. I don't want to bag it out on you, but you need to write some coding in order to make it a different game, especially in order to incorporate a sense of objective. Also, it's impossible to get Lerpz to the explosive block platform. The spaceship will not move Lerpz himself, and will get stuck if Lerpz is on it. Sorry, but you might want to do something this time rather than spend 5 minutes adding another platform and calling it a new game. http://j.mp/icgYgl
As a Guitar Hero geek, I will say, "This game is awful! The 4x multiplier takes too long to reach (72 notes), and the star power takes too long to collect. Plus, you can't stack them up for later. Also, the charting is horrible. The beat lines don't match up, and the notes themselves are off-beat. Also, it would've been much harder if some of the solos were charted instead of just blank areas."
As a flash game player, I'll say, "This game is an excellent port of Rock Band/Guitar Hero. I really like all the songs too. Plus, it's challenging. My only problem is that there's no quality button, or pause button. Also, it's a bit annoying how the career mode doesn't save. Oh well, it's still pretty awesome. 4/5."
I am a Guitar Hero geek though, so I got the hard badge...
This a great game. I wouldn't be surprised if you won something in the contest. Sure, you don't do much, but racking up combos is very enjoyable. All I have to say is add more levels, because that's all this game needs.
I somehow undestood how to play this game. You basically look at the map in the top-left corner of the screen. The aim is to move you (the arrow triangle thingy) to the exit (the O->). You turn around and move forward with the arrow keys, and certain spaces (the ones that aren't O) can be pushed. However, spaces will be pushed off. In order to reach the exit, you'll have to find a space that faces the right way that the exit is facing, which the map does not tell you. Pushing reduces your health more than moving, but generally aiming for the end is the aim. The problem is, the game is too confusing at first, because none of the actions are fully explained in detail. Also, the game is kind-of short, but I'll give you credit, it was for the Ludum Dare competition. I would have liked the last (fourth) level to look less glitchy. It's okay, but it's confusing and a bit bland to look at. I'll give you a 3, because it's definately expandable.
Hooray, I got the hard badge before the medium badge. :D
@Voltimetro: Lightning protection reduces the amount of time that the engine is off if you hit lightning. Fully upgrading it makes you not even fall down.
