when you die and start a new game, it continues from where you died earlier. So basically after a few tries, the game becomes impossible to play.
Make sure you reset the survive-timer variable when the player wants to play again, unless this was intended?
Kalo512, thats more likely a star wars reference... in the death star destruction scene one of the rebel pilots says "They came from... Behind!" :) But knowing Lucas, it was probably stol...err borrowed from somewhere else too :)
ridiculously hard for someone like me :P But I love the music and the execution of this game... Meatboy tribute or not... its still a really good game for what it sets out to do. Well done! (sadly I had to give up after a trillion attempts at the 5th level... my keyboard was at risk of being thrown out :P )
@Khanstruct , thank you for the suggestions.I agree with what you're saying to some extent. While I do appreciate that you've taken the time to comment here and letting me know what you think. I find it a bit disheartening that you're commenting on the game when you didnt play past the 2nd level. You basically missed out on some of the things that werent in Peggle but are in my game :P Its still a peggle clone though, no doubt about that :)
Wow! :) Well done Sophie, this is exactly one of those types of games that show off WHY Unity3d games should co-exist on this site alongside flash games! I think I speak on behalf of most, if not all, unity3d game developers when I say "bloody good job and thanks for representing Unity games so strongly! thumbs up!!!"
I really enjoyed playing the first few levels of this game, the pacing/tutorial was really well done... and then i lost track of time and ended up getting late for work, thanks to the double-jump mechanism and the fancy effects :P
Thanks for all the comments everyone :)
@miauw62 Yep, I've been using Unity3d because its free, and it was easier for me to learn than flash and it was originally made by danish people so i felt it was important for me to support my countrymen... I'm more of a visually oriented person, so for me Unity3d > Flash. but to each their own :) Having different options to chose from is great :)
its strangely relaxing to just run around with the fire-button pressed and obliterating the Allens with my cubes of death whilst listening to their odd shouts ;)
BUG: If you select "WAIT FOR CD" in the settings menu, your character will not attack ADDS unless all cooldowns are ready. Meaning that the character will just be attacked and NOT autoattack or use abilities against mob number 2 while waiting for cooldowns after he killed the 1st mob and moving onto 2nd mob.
I didn't realise this! Thanks for pointing that out. Will work on a fix.
